Weather was nice. A little bit of wind, but breezy and fluid.

So what is all of this talk and writing from tech sites about Google eventually abandoning G+. The plan I have read is Google Photos and other parts of G+ will be splintered off leading to further decline and eventual end of the social media service. I have noticed that Google Plus has not been seriously updated in quite a awhile, especially from an iOS app direction. There is a specific reason why I nuked my Facebook account and I wish to never go back Zuckster's circus of privacy invasion and deception. I hope Larry Page and Eric Schmidt circle the wagons and reload some serious resources into this platform.

I've heard similar rumors but don't understand the technical side of things. I'm hoping it doesn't go away. I enjoy G+...despise Facebook.

Getting back in the saddle with nice quick and productive ride after work. Felt like I've been in the wilderness for awhile, finally over this nasty flu/head cold that has kicked my ass for the last couple of weeks. Daylight Savings Time is now in full swing, it's time to get to it.

I know the feeling dude. Had a virus/cold for a few weeks and anytime I try and ride I get a coughing fit! 😩 hopefully I'll be back in the saddle for good soon 🚴🚴 I can feel my waist expanding!

+James L My New Year's ride. Today's weather is cold, damp and windy; is this what England is like? Anyhoo, Happy New Year to all my brethren of the cycling world!

Nice one. England is that, plus snow and ice in winter. Summer can be lovely too.

Feeling severely crappy, got a bug or virus that is hammering me into oblivion. I guess there'll be no riding this weekend. Thank God my better half has hooked me up with behind the counter Sudafed; you know, the kind of meds that MethHeads use to make their garage cocktails with. Anyhoo, at least BAMA is on TV this afternoon in SEC throwdown with MIZZOU.

Combine the Sudafed with Afrin severe congestion nose spray, and your head will thank you.

After 2+ weeks of being a total slacker, that was a tough ride.

A windy Sunday, 10-15 mph headwinds. But good weather non the less.

Today I exercised the demons and poisons from my wellbeing. Even though half the ride was in fierce and brutal headwind, the ride felt great and physically rewarding. I'll be 48 in 6 weeks, self discipline and clean living is what I desire for personal happiness. Keep the faith brothers.

Congrats - there's nothing quite like a good ride to put everything in perspective. :)

Just an easy ride to get my legs in rotation and warmed up. It's been almost 3 weeks since I've been in the saddle.

Busy day today. Grocery shopping, got a Xmas tree for my better half, did the Home Depot tour with HoneyDo's and topped it off with a quick ride as the sun was going down fast. Thank God for quality lights with high lumens.

Wow, with that kind of wealth you'd think these people would have better taste. 53,000 square feet of butt ugly architecture, I'd rather downsize with a custom home designed by Richard Meier, furnished with Eames and Mies Van der Rohe furniture and a gigantic Richard Lichtenstein on the wall with an accent of Jackson Pollock and Mark Rothko to complete the look. Seriously, wealthy people could use a clinic in better culture and education of home decor.
The Beverly Hills, California, estate, called Palazzo di Amore, is set on 25 acres overlooking LA.

True, just because it's expensive doesn't mean it looks good.
