Shocking, sad and funny. I do wonder how many people went "Wait...WHAT?!?"

Can you think of a single word that's an oxymoron in and of itself?

How about "monosyllabic"?

It's ridiculous how much collateral damage Google is inflicting with their "war" on web spam. Business owners shouldn't have to figure out this kind of technical stuff -- but unfortunately, if you care about your site ranking in the search engines, you do.
Learn how you can get your Google Penalty revoked too and be prepared because it is a lot of work to come back from Google's wrath and be SEO compliant.

This is awesome. Back when I first took Electronic Music in college, we did "musique concrète" by pinging tape recorders back and forth in order to get multiple copies of the same sound, then hand-cutting and splicing the tape. We've come a LONG way...

Here's a great example of some of the sketchy tactics used by some online reputation management firms. Putting aside the author's legal analysis, let's start with the fact that legal threats backfire more often than not. Somone like Chilling Effects or Popehat gets involved, and the problem escalates to far worse than it started. Unless you're truly prepared to take it to court quickly, this is a completely stupid tactic.
Recently, I got two identical emails from info@infringex.com sending me a "Notice of Infringement of Defamation." The notice informs me that a 2012 blog post--written by my perma-guest blogger, Ven...

Maybe when climate change starts affecting our daily lives a bit more directly, we'll finally wise up and take action at the level that's needed.

Normally, given a choice between a lollipop and a Kit Kat, I'd go with the Kit Kat, but in this case, I see your point.  :-)

Can't wait to read +sharon drew Morgen's new book. In social media, we usually spend so much of our time and energy focused on what we say that we forget that communications is a 2-way street, and listening well is every bit as important as speaking well. There's more to it than just "active listening", and this book promises to address it.

I've worked with New Standard IRA for years, and never had a problem getting paid. Then again, I always delivered what I promised. "Effective" is up to the customer to decide. Seems the only bad review here is from a guy who a) didn't satisfy his customer, and b) works for American IRA Counsel (which seems to be a low-grade competitor). Seems like a conflict of interest.
