Level 8 for the second time. This is the first portal I ever captured and the same portal I got level 16 on. Why not do recursed 8 in style?

The smurf taunting me to level up is +Roy Adams; that is "his" portal (he submitted it, he usually owns it). We live in the same neighborhood and battle over the same portals.

100% of the grind from 0 to 8 was done in Ingress Prime. I could have done the last bit in [redacted] but opted to just do it all in Prime because it is the present, why be stuck in the past even if the present is buggy AF?

(a) I'm not even sure what "Politically Correct" means anymore; the term has shifted in meaning since I first learned about it in the 1990s. Basically now, it is anything those who self-identify as conservatives dislike or from which think they can make political hay.
(b) I've made this exact argument about 2 years ago and coined "Conservatively Correct" as a mocking coopting of the term. The content is different, but the structures are the same. If you make a joke about any of the conservative's sacred topics they overreact and say "you are unamerican." Maybe they should form a house panel on such activity... oh, wait... they lost.

Another dear friend is gone. I was with Walter just a few hours before he died. He was such a kind and caring person.

Pushing my music into spotify, iTunes and lots of other places. I will still make it free on SoundCloud, but this gives people more options. I've been pondering the ethics of giving music away for free. I don't ever expect a penny from this hobby, but other people need to make money on their music. Does me giving mine away reinforce the expectation that music should (always?) be free? I want my favorite artists to get paid for their hard work, even if I don't. And if me giving my music away reinforces a bad expectation, I guess I should charge at least a pittance for it to help break that expectation.
