Last night an entrepreneur said: "Scoble the world doesn't revolve around you"
I was told that last night by an entrepreneur after I told him he talks too much. My bad for opening MY mouth, I should have learned the lesson that people love talking about themselves and if you ask them not to they will lash out and think you are quite rude. Which I was, just was trying to give this guy some advice. Which was that if he talked about 30% less, people would listen more to him.
But yesterday a company founder of Tuzzit, https://www.tuzzit.com/
came up to me and said "last year you criticized us and that really improved our product." I took another look and they really focused their product and did something neat: an interactive board. Great for collaborating during meetings and such, here's a shot of a board they demoed to me yesterday.
I found these two interactions at the Web Summit in Dublin interesting. The really great entrepreneurs don't talk a lot. They listen to criticism and don't lash back. Then they test the criticism on real customers and see if it's valid.
It's always fun meeting people. I always learn something. I never knew the world didn't rotate around me. :-)
Thanks Tuzzit, nice to see the new design, much improved.
