Visit the Mukilteo Lighthouse & Beach. The lighthouse was first lit in 1906 and stands beautifully restored today. The Mukilteo-Clinton ferry provides the opportunity for a great walk-on boat ride (approx. 60 min. round trip) or take your car for a full-day excursion to Whidbey Island, Deception Pass or the Olympic Peninsula.

Are you up for an awesome hike and unbelievable views? Grab your boots and get ready for some of the most breathtaking scenery in WA at Rattlesnake Ledge, perched above Rattlesnake Lake. Stand on the ledge of this monolithic block of rock and be awed at the sight of wild forest, the Snoqualmie River valley and massive Mt. Si.

Among the best hiking trails close to Seattle are : Rattlesnake Ledge, Si, Little Si Mountains, Mailbox Peak, Tiger, Squak and Cougar mountains. They are easily accessible, and suitable for anybody in a relatively good fitness shape ( I did Si and Little Si mountains on the same day ) - http://www.extrahyperactive.com/2013/04/best-washington-hikes-rattlesnake-ledge.html

Not the best place for beginners to learn windsurfing... With high winds, fast water, and cold temps ( even in summer ), the Columbia River can be a dangerous place without proper training and support...

Tour the Admiralty Head Lighthouse located in Coupeville, WA on Whidbey Island. The lighthouse and Fort Casey's big guns stood watch over the entrance to Puget Sound for decades. Today they watch over a breath-taking view of the Olympic mountains, Port Townsend ferry, shipping lanes and occasionally Orca whales.
