For a simple shape round pendants can contain entire worlds of wonder. Over this past couple of months I have been working on using silver fume and making Chaos or Vortex style pendants. Towards the end of April I had my first experience of actually using dichroic.

There was some experimentation with the jellyfish through April. During a live studio feed I decided to try the Jellyfish cap with frit rather than adding dots of glass from the rod, they turned out really well and I made a few more. Other experiments included finer and denser tentacles and they use of UV reactive glass.

These toadstools evolved from the jellyfish after a comment that the jellyfish looked like fairy houses. I happened to be in the studio at the time so I made up a toadstool. The rest have developed from there. I quite enjoy using the solid colours for the toadstools though occasionally I will use silver loaded colours for a magical looking cap.

All my completed colouring pages from the first Zen Colouring book [Flowers] Some have titles because of how they were coloured and some do not. I've noted the media and the time I spent on the page under each of the pages.

Reworking the portfolio pages to galleries rather than the individual pages and so it's possible to see the progression in the pieces from the start to the latest. Here's the first page, March's Jellyfish so far with a few more to add before the month is over. :) At the moment there are a few I can't remember the colours for but I will add that in when I do.

Another from my Zentagle ACEO collection. Drawn with a 0.1mm pen on 120gsm paper.

Closing In Zentangle ACEO The way the patterns ended up on this one with the denser outer tangles and the lighter paradox centre made it feel like the walls were closing in, giving this piece it’s title. I enjoy grid based patterns and this one really…

Below are my kiln schedules and their uses for both soft and borosilicate glass. I use a Paragon SC2 with a sentry 2.0 controller and are provided as a rough guide to a starter annealing schedule. The 104COE schedule is also good for 96COE as I will…
