Deciding to book a Channel Island Kayaking Tour with the leading adventure tour operator in Santa Barbara was easy. My wife and I really enjoyed our staycation trip and these guys helped us explore the most unique part of California. The guide was top notch and the overall quality of the experience was well organized and affordable.
Quality Excellent

I have gone on 3 trips to the island for kayaking with SBAC. One with my family, one with some office workers, and one with clients. All trips were first rate, easy to set up and definitely worth it. The sea cave kayaking is world class. the guides SBAC uses are super helpful and well informed. The last time i went i ended up staying to camp on the island (in the NPS campground) which made for an extra relaxing time after kayaking and gave us a chance to explore the island the next day. If you are in the area, the sea caves of Santa Cruz Island are not to be missed and these guys at SBAC have it completely dialed.

A wonderful day on water and land! This was our second visit to Channel Islands National Park and our first to Santa Cruz Island. The day was perfect so our guides, Aaron and Rylan, toured us through sea caves in our kayaks for nearly 3 hours. It was spectacular! If you go: take advantage of the complimentary wetsuits provided by SB Adventure Co! You will get wet. Take water, take a snack and have fun! Sea cave kayaking is something most of us won't do on our own -- it's great to go with guides who know each cave, know when it's safe to go in and can instruct on the tricky parts! Enjoy!

My 11-year old son and I had a fantastic day trip sea kayaking the coast and caves of Santa Cruz island, with tremendous thanks to our guides Laird and Kenchi. We had the time of our lives! We saw harbor seals, sea lions, an ocean sunfish, nesting sea and shore birds, jelly fish, anemones, star fish and even fish in the kelp forests below our kayaks. Laird was a great naturalist and interpreter, sharing loads of interesting information that appealed to my son and I alike. I have already recommended this trip to friends, and will continue to do so.

We had an awesome experience kayaking in the sea caves of Santa Cruz island! We even saw several humpback whales on the ferry ride going out and coming back. Our guides were very knowledgeable about the marine and bird life around the island. I also learned a few new skills to improve my kayaking. I was worried that I would get too cold, but they provided all the necessary equipment to keep me warm - wetsuit, jacket, shoes. I highly recommend this company and especially this trip.

Kayaking along the shore and through sea caves at Santa Cruz Island. What a treat! Our expectations were high for this trip and they were exceeded. The guide was great and the equipment provided was perfect. We also got in a little surfing (in the kayaks) at the end. I highly recommend this trip.
