The weekend is a great time to experiment with a new recipe! This roundup of homemade protein bars is a collection of delicious ideas to get you started. They're quick and easy to make, and they taste better than packaged bars. http://realfoodrealdeals.com/2013/11/12/homemade-protein-bars-recipe-roundup/  #healthy   #recipes

Does the Universe Have a Center?

We like to think that everything has a starting point—that everything has a beginning, middle, and end. If this view is accurate, then the universe must have a center. This understanding of the cosmos makes things simple to grasp, but unfortunately, it’s also terribly inaccurate.

So, what's the truth of the matter? Does the universe have a center? See: http://goo.gl/UdbYzZ

The saying “a picture is worth a thousand words” for a reason. Explaining how we feel is one way of getting a message across. Another is simply showing each other how we feel. During each season, this couple took a photo together in front of their house. In the resulting series of images below, without saying anything at all, a love story is being told. It’s full of hope, joy, fear and loss, but it’s told in the most unique way. You’ll see what w...

I was just reading about this. I don't have full access to Nature, so I was only able to see what others have said about it. There was one line in the article I read that bothered me: "The 10 billion light year distance gave the researchers a chance to view cosmic radiation on a very large scale, allowing them to detect a gas cloud much larger than galaxy, with a gas filament of the cosmic web as the only logical conclusion." In a Universe we are only just beginning to understand, why is conclusion dubbed the only logical one? I'm not a cosmologist or an astronomer, but I'd love to hear from one. Isn't it possible this is something else? At least possible? Or is a cosmic gas filament truly the only possible explanation?

I've been doing my workout here and training for 3 years. Highly recommended. Very polite staff, close to Bern main station and separate barbell/dumbbell room.
