Yikes, that's a harsh view. As a girl who did go into CS, I think it went differently for me because I didn't realize until partway through college that it was even unusual for a girl to be in computer science. . My dad was into programming and computers as a hobby, so when plain HTML became too limiting for me and my Anita Blake Vampire Hunter fan site, haha, he suggested this thing called PHP and MySQL. I loved web development and working with PHP, and when I went into college computer science seemed like the major that would most likely teach me more about PHP, MySQL, and things like them.
