This story really touched me.
Elvis Summers became accustomed to letting the homeless woman on his block, Smokie, go through his recycling, but decided there had to be something more he could do. So he built her somewhere to live.

Do you speak cattish?
Cats are easily misunderstood, says Dr. Gary Weitzman, author of the new National Geographic book "How to Speak Cat." They don't meow at one another.

Happy Earth Day!
As Earth Day (April 22) reaches its 45th anniversary, NASA has a series of activities planned to celebrate the beauty of our home planet.

How cool is this?
Jane Austen has been unveiled as the face of the new £10 banknote from 2017, when the current note featuring Charles Darwin ceases circulation.

My favorite scene for #internationaldanceday. Fred Astaire accidentally falls onto a dance floor. Magic ensues.

Crazy or enchanted? You decide.
Nestled in some of the most beautiful corners of the world, are hidden settlements of people who have adapted to live under boulders, on floating islands, in volcanoes and in the middle of the ocean.

Cara was the photographer for our October 2012 wedding in Leland, Michigan. She was wonderful. She seemed to understand immediately what kind of photos we wanted on our special day. And I can't thank her enough for her kindness and compassion on the day of our wedding. She was so amazing -- I was so stressed out that I'm certain I didn't thank her enough for her input, creativity and hard work. It was a rainy day wedding and she didn't seem to notice as she snapped away and captured all the happiness of our day. So thank you, thank you, thank you! I can't imagine a better wedding photographer.
