You have an amazing voice and you are an extremely talented writer. Thank you for standing up for science, farmers and GMOs in DC. I'm a farm wife from Alberta, Canada and I fully admit I didn't have the courage to attend a March Against Myths counter protest. Bravo.

Great video! Love that it showcases farmers that grow both organic and conventional crops! Nice to see transparency admitting that organic farmers DO use pesticides and often have to apply more, more often.

I'm a bit confused with the comment in this video that "We believe farming is an art and a science. We choose to not make it a chemistry experiment" Can you please elaborate on "chemistry experiment"? I'm having a hard time understanding how Organic Valley farmers farm chemical free??

"I don't believe that these marketing strategies reflect the ethics of real organic farmers, certainly none that I've met. Someone made the excellent suggestion that organic farmers could start a "not in my name" campaign to say that they don't want to see the whole organic movement dragged down to this low level, and they don't want to see their neighbors and fellow farmers maligned."

YES YES YES! Amen and hallelujah! I would be the first cheering them on for starting such a campaign, what a novel idea! I've always always always said that I don't think this misleading/propagandist marketing reflects the majority of organic farmers, but would always encourage and love to see them counter the fear and misinformation shared!
There is a new video about farming which is so nasty and misleading that I believe it qualifies as "hate speech" for financial gain.  Only Organic, a consortium of organic marketers, hired a professional ad agency to produce ...
