Tried baking cookie dough Oreos. Do. Not. Try!

My kitchen smelled like the Pillsbury Doughboy's butthole the rest of the evening.

I think I need to get a circular saw pronto - that way I can design/build my own IKEA-style furniture!
Ben Uyeda from HomeMade Modern shows how easy it is to make a multi-tasking desk for small living spaces using just a single sheet of plywood.

Found this one when it was near dark, but I was still out and scouting nice spots to shoot some buggies.
This is actually one of the few times that a "belly-shot" of a spider still appeals to me, perhaps because of the angle. You can still see its eyes a bit :)

Hearing about the new Incredibles sequel leaves me feeling uneasy. The announcement was made alongside news that there'd be a Cars 3. Both will undoubtedly be released after the Finding Nemo sequel, Finding Dory. And who knows when Pixar's Star Wars movies will be made/released.

The last "original" Pixar movie was Brave, and that left much to be desired. Too much of that movie felt like it had Disney's paws all over it when compared to the similarly themed and superbly made How to Train Your Dragon.

Are we in an age where Dreamworks can outdo Pixar? Is Pixar running out of new ideas? Is John Lasseter micromanaging too much? Is Disney running Pixar into the ground in favor of squeezing every red cent out of the property?

I think the whole world would benefit if all status updates had a 1 hour waiting period before being published. So many hateful things are said as a reaction to something else and a little reflection could go a long way.

Most of mine goes towards commuting and life maintenance. It's nice being able to visualize where my time is going, that way I can change it if I need to!

The printer for this week's Kohl's flyer really jacked this guy's eyeball up!

I love the Joffrey pose Adam Scott takes while sitting in the Iron Throne so much!

Terrible place! Went in with a party of 8 when it was practically empty. Took over 2 hours to get our food. We ordered 2 appetizers and only 1 showed up after a long time of waiting. The food was terrible and our waitress was nonexistent for the most part. Also, we were offered a "special" but because it wasn't listed in the menu, we were charged a "comparable" price at $5 more for the NY strip. Disappointed.

Noisiest hotel I've ever stayed at. There seems to be an ambulance or police car passing ever half hour and you can hear the water in the pipes and noises from the elevator constantly. Service is generally good, but inconsistent - sometimes pillows would go missing from my room after housekeeping cleaned up. Oh, and speaking of the pillows, they're very thin. Loved the dining though and the view was great.
