+John HeckendornI was unaware that the resolution went back to 1080 for video. I might rethink my strategy. Thanks for the info. . .

I have a 3 day old acer c720 2gb model up for sale - mint shape cloud storage has not been redeemed.  $170 anyone interested.  Someone bought it for me as a gift but I have one.  Shipping to US only.

Wow!
Google inks a deal with VMWare to bring legacy Windows applications to its Chrome OS-powered Chromebooks and Chromeboxes. Read this article by Seth Rosenblatt on CNET News.

+Jo Stepaniak Agreed a million times over - I've been begging for a 1:1 Track Changes feature in Google Docs for years now.  Technically, they already have it - they just need to make the revision history better.

I just redeemed the terabyte of storage from my Dell 11, I didn't think Google would let me because I already had a terabyte from my pixel.  It did, now I have 2 terabytes!  I can upload my life to drive haha

What linux distros/desktops are people running on their chromebooks?  In the past I used crouton and I always leaned toward Unity.  I always have to tinker and this dell 11 seems like a fun machine to throw linux on...

Like +Kim Nilsson, I'm liking LXDE on a crouton trusty release. I've used LXDE on my little Raspberry Pi print server so I know it's pretty lightweight.

Ok guys I need some help - if you could have the toshiba chromebook 2 with 4gb or the dell chromebook 11 4gb and price was the same which would you go for?  Screen vs power here...

+Data Scavenger The Dell 11 is intelligently designed, built like a tank, and is a joy to use. Its TN panel, which is merely OK, is its weakest feature.

Had the toshiba chromebook 2 with 4gb in my cart for 279...a great deal. I didn't buy it, the bay trail processor bums me out. Anyone has performance issues or lag? I want a Hassell processor :-(

I have an acer c720 the rare model with 4gbs of ram up for grabs. Great shape with a very light scratch on the lid from normal use 235. Willing to email pics. Cloud storage in tact, never redeemed.

Has anyone put the acer c720 2gb head to head against the 4gb?  Any performance differences?  I have owned the 4 but not the 2...
