First day back after Spring Break, I'm already dying this morning. Next time I don't think I'm going to run a half marathon the last weekend of Spring Break after walking all around Austin for SXSW. It was a great bre...

A simple, not fancy or "sexy" math resource I've used that has saved my life when it came to the measurement unit.   #MTBoS
Everyone just LOVES teaching surface area and volume, right? Well, I always loved teaching the topics but when it came down to kids solving the problems and figuring out where they went wrong that's when I started going cros...

So I've taken to pinning a TON of stuff on Pintrest recently and I've been able to incorporate a lot of it into the PD that I've been presenting to my math team. Here are some of my math boards that might be interesting. ...

I had a geometry class one year that was triple stacked (gen ed, inclusion, and resource -- we won't go into the legalities of it).  To make sure all the kids could be successful when it came to finding surface area and volume we created a template so the kids wouldn't get confused during the process.  The template is free on my TpT (https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Process-for-finding-Surface-Area-and-Volume-of-3D-figures-657667)  and I'm about to post a blog about it now too (t-cubed-teaching.blogspot.com).  Thanks for these great ideas everyone!

Absolutely fantastic place! They custom made my engagement with my fiancé from family stones that were passed down to us. My fiancé couldn't say enough amazing things about them. When I finally got to go there with him I feel in love! Everyone is like a big family, well most of them are family, and they hugged us as we left after asking all about the stories behind the different stones and how he proposed. We will definitely be returning for future presents. (They have a wonderful bat collection created by the owners son that's amazing.)

Great park with options for everyone! The splash pad is great for young and old when it gets really hot, the trails going through here go to some beautiful scenery, the volleyball court isn't usually too packed, plenty of places to throw in a fishing line and there's a place to rent paddle boards and canoes from; just don't plan on swimming in it. Just beware, when the rain really comes down it tends to flood but the water usually recedes pretty quickly.

With the recent change in administration there has been a huge turn around in the school. It's only 3 weeks into the school year and teachers, students, parents, and district officials are talking about all the wonderful changes. I'm looking forward to seeing how the rest of the year pans out and how the school will blossom and improve throughout the year!

Just came here with the husband for the first time to use our Austin Passbook at Boteco and not only was the food fantastic but the service was surprisingly amazing! They were happy we were there for the first time and the owner came and talked to us about the customary dish serviced on Sundays (which we will be back for) as well as how great the Passbook is. I highly recommend the Cosina, my husband best described them as a wonderful cheesy and chicken hush puppy. Great service, wonderful atmosphere all at a reasonable price!

Great wine bar with a wonderful atmosphere, a diverse array of wine flights and great happy hour prices on small plates. I've been here multiple times and every time the manager always stops by my table to see how everything is and if there's anything he can do. The staff is wonderful and extremely knowledgeable about their selections. I highly suggest going on Thursdays since bottles of champagne are half off then! It's a great place to catch up with a group of friends or go for a delightful dinner with a special person in your life.

Great outdoor location with plenty of trees for shelter with some great food trucks and drinks. It's dog friendly with sand volleyball courts, cornhole, washers and plenty of other things to do at night. The food trucks have some great food and the service is pretty quick with the food and drinks. I highly recommend it, even if it is warm out. The trees and misters are awesome!

Just had a fantastic experience getting a great pair of distance minimalist running shoes. The staff is very knowledgeable and will do a fitting and analysis of your gait and stride. Even though I came in during a rush on a Sunday I got plenty of attention and help finding the perfect pair. They also just started a rewards program. Can't recommend them highly enough!
