Chief Storyteller for Veterans United Network and Story-Up 360
Introduction
Sarah Hill, is the mother of two teenagers, three if you count her husband. An alum of the Missouri School of Journalism, she's a National Edward R. Murrow and 12 time Mid-America Emmy award-winning Storyteller. Whether it's 360 Storytelling or hands-free live-streaming with Google Glass, Virtual and Augmented Realities are two mediums in which Sarah likes to create with a storytelling project called Story-UP 360. A former interactive news anchor, her team at KOMU-TV pioneered the use of multi-way video chat during a newscast. Through that experience, Sarah learned the value of Human Media and eye contact online. As Chief Storyteller at Veterans United Foundation, she tells stories about Veterans and military families and uses Human Media to give a voice to military charities. Currently, Sarah is working with the Virtual Reality (VR) industry on Honor Everywhere 360, an immersive experience for Veterans not able to physically travel to see their memorials. Sarah has covered the aftermath of the 2004 Tsunami in Sri Lanka and Indonesia and produced documentaries in Vietnam and Guatemala on the world's mobility problem. She likes running, Cheerios, and practical jokes. Do NOT eat her powdered donuts.

Google + Jaunt = Virtual Reality
Interesting read on Jaunt's new camera and how Google fits into the VR filmaking business. This is my VR Storytelling Starup that uses VR for social good stories.  http://www.story-up.com/
Maybe at the high end of VR video, which Google seems to be avoiding (at least for now).

My New Gig in Virtual Reality
You're doing what? It may sound a little nuts to leave a job at a great company with great people to create content for a cardboard box. But in August 2015, I’ll follow my heart, hold my breath and jump into uncharted territory with my own digital storytell...

Would You Wear a Tesla Suit?
If you read the book "Ready Player One" ...this body controller for Virtual Reality sounds like something straight out of the pages. Would you wear one if it let you browse the web, interact or play games? #virtualreality  h/t +Michael Interbartolo

Like a first gen immersion Rig for Oasis in Ready Player One
The Tesla Suit (no relation to Telsa Motors)
Virtual and upgraded reality are becoming more and more popular among us. While the idea of replacing our “limited”  with another reality in which you can be what you want and when you want,  is a really interesting perspective, however, the current systems are very limited and are based on systems serving only audio-video content.
Meet Tesla Suit – suit which will allow full penetration in the virtual world. This device, or rather, a collection of devices, based on more little devices that are placed on different body parts: waist, torso, arms, hands, legs, knees, etc. T-Belt is the name of the belt which is located on the waist of the body, and also known as the “head unit” and associate the systems for virtual reality via Bluetooth.
T-Belt e equipped with a number of exceptional sensors for motion, temperature, gyroscope etc., which allows transmission of the movements of the real world into the virtual. The second most important part of Tesla Suit are the gloves for the hands called T-Glove. With these gloves you can manipulate objects in the virtual world through their “capture”, “release” and “dumping” and will also give you a real sense of holding the subject with their electrics and mechanics.

Virtual Reality Enables Aging Veterans to See their Memorials in 3D
We are losing our WWII Veterans at a rate of 500 a day and sadly most have not seen their memorials in Washington, DC. A new 360 degree, 3D camera is bringing the memorials to Veterans homes around the nation.
