- The TimesJournalist, present
I have written for nearly every national newspaper, been a producer on BBC Newsnight and edited School Gate, a blog about education for The Times. It was named as one of the 20 best education blogs in the world by the Washington Post. I'm also the author of The Starting School Survival Guide: everything you need to know when your child starts primary school, published by White Ladder.
I now work as a digital editor/reporter for The Times' Sports desk (where I am the only woman).
I have two children, aged 12 and 8 and write regularly on family holidays and days out. We have our own blog, Family Travel Times, which we all contribute to, and which we really enjoy writing.
