Do you go to work double fisting? (that is, juice in one hand, coffee in the other, or any variation on this).

Sometimes.  Though it's usually a cold bottle of water (to get me through my day teaching) and something to help start my day like a Coke, coffee or tea.

Wow! 5 surprising foods that are GE (genetically engineered). Be sure to check the labels before you buy!
Papaya, Milk, Corn on the cob, Squash and Zuchini, and "All Natural" foods.

I know many of us have questions as to whether GMO foods are good or bad for our health. Staying informed is so important, for you and your family. Reading trusted articles and listening in to summits are a great way to stay informed. I recommend the GMO Minisummit (Oct 25-27), hosted by Jeffery Smith who shares the latest, groundbreaking research on the intersection of GMOs, health and happiness..

When you say "check the labels before you buy!" What are you referring to? Since labeling GMOs is not required and very rarely done especially on fresh foods. Is there a trick?

I believe that we need a place to slow down and return to our feminine power. It is too easy to get caught up in busy schedules and family, while forgetting about your own needs. That is why Kristin Sweeting Morelli has created the Red Tent Revival. "It is an (free) online celebration that will rock your panties off". I will be there! Nov 3-7.
Join the Red Tent Revival.

I am a wife, mother to two incredible girls (ages 8 and 13), friend, scholar, seeker, yoga teacher, Harvard-trained MD with 20+ years of experience, and author of the New York Times bestselling book, The Hormone Cure.
Introduction
I believe in evidence-based ancient wisdom.

I believe in eating your leafy greens rather than popping synthetic pills. I believe in Ayurveda and integrative medicine. I believe in using yoga to cultivate your most vibrant vitality (and teach a workshop on it, natch). I believe you deserve to feel sexy, ripe and delicious.

I believe PMS is a legitimate health concern, no different than a sprained ankle (albeit a recurring one) or a broken leg and I believe the health issues unique to women have been shamed and minimized and mocked and stereotyped for too long. There’s no reason for women to be ashamed about menstruating or menopause or to be embarrassed about being women. I believe that needs to change. I believe in changing it. I believe in women. I believe in tending your flame. I believe that proactively managing and optimizing your health is your divine responsibility and path to personal power. I believe there’s probably a reason you’ve lost your mojo and that reason is probably hormonal. And I believe you can – and should – do something about it. I believe in you. Join me here.
