It's a little tweak that makes a big difference -- my most read circles are now at the top of my sidebar, instead of hidden under the "more" link.
'“We’ve been hearing that you want a way to reorder your circles — so when you add people, view your stream, or share, that list of circles is in the order that works for you,” van Zuiden writes on Google’s thriving social network. “We thought it was a great idea, and today, we’re launching this on Google+.”'
I'm impressed by how responsive Google has been to feature requests! What should be next?
It should be pretty up-to-date now but people are releasing things every day now and it's hard to keep on top of it all without help.
And as a follow-up, here's another article that hypothesizes things that could be done with authorship to improve social sharing: http://brief-history-of-tim.blogspot.com/2011/07/google-plus-blogger.html
They suggested I link my G+ profile to both imjustcreative.co.uk and imjustcreative.com and vice-versa.
If you have been setting up Google Authorship, and also have both . co. uk and . com of the same domain, then I would do the same.
But my real passion comes from user experience design, information architecture, and interaction design. I’m a child of the “how” — how does it work, how do people use it, and how can it be better? It’s not enough just to make something look awesome, it also has to work well.
I’m a really big nerd, so I will geek out on you for at least two hours about anything technology-related. My free time is filled with online roleplaying, robotics, Netflix binge-watching, Skype chats, and all kinds of gaming. Harry Potter, Disney, Marvel, and Doctor Who pretty much own my soul. I’m passionate about FIRST Robotics and spend many, many (read: over 400) hours mentoring students at my former high school. And any time I have left is spent reading design blogs, magazines, and of course, scrolling through tumblr.
