Last year Disney announced a Lion King spin-off called The Lion Guard, a TV movie that will premiere in Fall 2015, with a subsequent series to debut in early 2016 focused towards pre-school target audience.
It will follow the adventures of Kion, another offspring of Simba of Nala and his friends, a cheetah, hippo, egret and honey badger. 

Only two images have been released by then featuring Kion but none with the rest of the gang.

Being a huge TLK fan I got and still am really excited about this and I though it would be a great exercise to go back to Pride Lands and create some concepts of the unveiled characters. And here they are!
Since these guys will be featured in a pre-school show I had to make them cute and appealing, with friendly shapes, big eyes, toned down contrasts and child like features, like Kion has in the promo pictures. 
Since I didn’t have any kid of that age to test this characters I had to rely on my own kid brain to do this. I’m pretty sure with a good lead artist and child test group I could improve even more this characters, but I’m really happy with the result! 

It sure felt great to be back to Pride Lands :)

“Death Party” is a party game me and Chris Gregan made for Global Gamecraft  with the theme “Party Games”.I made the art for the game while Chris made al the coding.

To play it you just need to gather a group of people that will have to obey the orders given by the game orelse they’ll have to die dramatically. You need to survive all the orders to win. 

The games has 3 levels of difficulty, each one with 10, 20 or 30 orders.

Toy Rescue ★Story★ is a playfully addictive puzzle adventure game for everyone, with mind bending levels set in a living toy world.
It was developed at Sugra Games and you can play it here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sugragames.toyrescuestory

I was responsible for the art and animation of most of the characters and some objects of this game. I was also responsible for the character design of some secondary characters as you can see in the images.

I love life drawing.

It’s the best way to improve anatomy and how the body and muscles work for animation. It’s also my way to test new way to represet something, to mix new materials and to develop different visual ways to tell something. 

I’ll keep updating this as I make new images.

Abair Liom is a series of Irish language books for Junior Infants (4-6yr olds), senior Infants, 1st class and 2nd Class (7-8yr olds) from Folens and I was deligthed to be part of this project! 

Being able to handle the books physically is very worthy specially if you’re like me and love the smell of freshly printed books. 

I worked alongside Craig Fish while being directed by Marc Diamond. 

It was an amazing experience, the amount of images that were done in the end was incredible and I learned a lot about how not to overcomplicate images and how to manage thigh deadlines deliver everything with quality. Those skills are priceless and will make my future work even better for sure. 

I was responsible for a part of the illustrations featured in the book. All illustrations are vector so they could be edited and modified without quality loss.
