This list was a collective effort, and I luckily got the assignment of writing it up. There are hundreds of places that could've made the list, but here are 10 worth considering planning your next trip around. Personally I've been to all 10 natural wonders, except for Acadia - and that's next.

Summer school is in session, and I'm a lab rat.
Last night when I should have been studying bones, I was arguing with a friend about disrespect. That argument made me realize something valuable: you might have gotten the impression from these...

My latest articles for +Lonely Planet got syndicated to +The Daily Beast: Fuel up and take one of these classic or off-the-beaten-path road trips in 2014.
There's nothing like a classic road trip. But that doesn't mean you have to stick with the Pacific Coast Highway and Route 66. Here are ten scenic drives that are well worth the gas.

A few of the most beautiful short nature trails in Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks are wheelchair-accessible. Here's a photo from one of them, aptly named Panoramic Point. +NationalParkService +Lonely Planet

It's always a joy to find new places in my own county while researching the new edition of the California guidebook for +Lonely Planet . Here's why Harmony Headlands State Park may be the best little California state park you've never heard of - yet.
With over 275 California state parks to choose from, sometimes it's the littlest parks that get overlooked. Honestly, that's OK with me, because it means more solitude when I hike. But low visitation numbers also equal a grea...

Hello, everyone: I'm updating a list of helpful online resources for accessible travel in California, for Lonely Planet's state-wide California guidebook. I'm looking for websites that cover either the entire state (ex. www.wheelingcalscoast.org), individual regions (ex. www.accessnca.com) or individual cities (ex. http://access-sandiego.org/). These can be either governmental, non-profit or commercial websites. All suggestions welcome. Thanks!

I found Natasha through a TravelZoo local deal for the Central Coast. I was looking for a new massage therapist, and that deal finally gave me the motivation to make an appointment. I'm so glad I found Natasha, because the first massage session I had with her was so relaxing, I signed up for a 6-month "massage junkie" deal that she offers. What I most appreciate about Natasha was the ability to have comfortable silence during much of the massage (I've found some massage therapists prefer to chat, but personally I like to just focus in on breathing and being, not talking). I also appreciated the low-volume classical guitar / piano music in the background, as opposed to artificial "relaxation" music or recorded natural soundscapes. Highly recommended!
