Lemonade without lemons is just sugar water. The hardest thing for people to understand is that life isn't supposed to be all sweet. Sometimes it's as bitter as a lemon peel, and that's life too.

So, this happened.  Benjamin Sangraal asked me to edit the post in which his name is mentioned.  I obliged.

If you have ever uttered the words "ritual duct tape"...you might be a redneck Pagan.

Starting today I will be reading at Phoenix and Dragon, 5531 Roswell Rd. every Monday and on the first Saturday of every month.  Today I will be there from 10 am to 6 pm; Mondays I will be there from noon to 8 pm. Readings are $75 for 1/2 hour, $100 3/4 hour and $125 for 1 hour.  Additionally, I will be teaching workshops at the store every month.  My first workshop is on Southern folk magic, this upcoming Wednesday at 7 pm. http://phoenixanddragon.com/index.html

If you are local to Atlanta, I am going to start doing readings and offering workshops at Phoenix and Dragon Bookstore in Roswell. The first workshop will be March 9, on Southern folk magic.
What is Southern folk magic and where does it come from? Is it still around? Yes, it is! In this class, experience an overview of the interconnected magical traditions of the region, philosophy, world-view, and practical applications. Includes advice on how to work an uncrossing.

I would like to see the awareness that how you teach can be as important as what you teach more widespread in Pagan circles.
How you teach can be as important as what you teach. Your values and world-view can sometimes be more clearly conveyed by what you do rather than what you say.

Story
Tagline
This is what happens when you turn a woman like me loose on the Internet.
Introduction
I grew up in north Georgia, among the ridges and valleys of the lazy tail end of the Appalachians. My father was a civil engineer and my mother was a high school English teacher.  My family is full of educators, storytellers, and eccentrics, and I am no exception to any of it.
