When we begin a relationship with a new client, we ask a lot of questions. Who’s your target patient audience? Are you a cosmetic, restorative, or general dentist? Do you have any specialties? What’s your practice philosophy? Do you invest in continuing education and cutting-edge technology for your team and dental office? The list goes on and on.

The point of all of our questions is to get to know you, your team, and your practice. Why? So that we can create a web presence that is an online extension of your physical office and — ultimately — to achieve your digital marketing goals and grow your practice.

Our clients are always our top priority, but we want to do a better job of congratulating them when various aspects of their SEO and online marketing strategies launch.

Each week, we’ll feature clients who recently had websites and blogs go live — whether as a new site or as a rebuild and/or redesign. Yesterday, we featured Dr. Michael Flynn of Michael Flynn Dentistry in West Allis, Wisconsin!

Take a look at Dr. Flynn's new, beautiful website!

We know we’ve been focusing on the importance of having a responsive, mobile-friendly website a lot lately. But there’s a reason: it’s our job to make sure that our clients’ web presences comply with the most up-to-date SEO industry standards, and that means having a mobile-friendly website.

What we haven’t discussed yet, however, is how mobile usage trends impact local businesses. Is “going mobile” necessary for a local business?

Yes. Read our latest blog post for more information!

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been focusing a lot on the latest standards in SEO (having a responsive, mobile-friendly website, for example). But, a big part of today’s SEO is UX (user experience).

Today, Annie Pipkin, who is MDPM's resident designer, chimes in about something she's seen a lot of buzz about recently: horizontal website navigation versus vertical website navigation.

Annie's a big advocate of horizontal navigation menus. Here's why.

Our design guru Annie recently delivered 2 very different website design options to a new MDPM Consulting client. One design was dynamic, while the other was flat. Both designs featured the same information, elements, user experience goals, and more, but the designs were polar opposites of each other. This doctor loved both of her design proposals, but ultimately ended up selecting the flat option.

So, what is flat website design, anyway? Find out in our latest blog post!

Each week, we’ll feature a few clients who recently had websites and blogs go live — whether as a new site or as a rebuild and/or redesign. On Friday, we featured Dr. Nam of Rodem Tree Dental, Dr. Roberson of Independence Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, and Dr. Richards of The Dental Centre of Conroe.

Check out this blog post to see their new, beautiful websites! We're really excited about the sites we featured on Friday because we feel they show the full scope of the variety of website designs and user experiences we're capable of creating. They're all so different!
