I highly recommend this hole in the wall taco spot. The tacos are fairly authentic in style: small, corn tortillas, meat, onions, and cilantro. But they really stuff them with the meat, and it's all really good. I loved the salsa for the chips and salsa, too

Best Mexican north of CA. Habanero salsa is delicious. Love the vegan options as well. The chile Rieno Burrito with enchilada sauce smothered on top can't be beat. Great Caddy margarita too.

My girlfriend and I randomly stopped at this place wandering around Portland on vacation. The restaurant itself is extremely cozy with both folk art of Mexican saints and magickal symbols from the nineteenth century. There are both fantastic vegetarian/vegan and omnivore options. I can't say I've ever had cochinita before--shredded pork marinated in orange juice and achiote--but it was a unique, delicious flavor on a taco. The vegan tinga was so spicy and flavorful one could hardly tell it was vegan. Coupled with cheap drinks and free chips and salsa made for a great lunch.

Bomb nachos, good burritos, co-ops with Bailey's across the street. Good stuff. Definition of "hole in the wall"

Cool atmosphere, awesome drinks and food. And you can even have your food delivered to the dance club next door, if you're craving a burrito and strippers! Seriously though, awesome restaurant!

By far the best Mexican food I had in Portland. They have a great menu, and the portions are large. I had their food twice and have been very happy with the flavor. I like the fact that you can phone in your order, and the wait is usually not bad. Also they are open late and the staff is helpful and friendly.
