Introduction

I began my career in social media marketing in 2009 and founded SunnySide Social Media in 2011.  My work in this industry began as the Social Media Director for a Boulder-based artist.  This experience allowed me the opportunity to recognize that the connections built through digital media are my passion, and I thrive on the satisfaction of helping a business build a bond with its target audience.

After achieving great success through my work in social media and garnering national recognition from Good Morning America on my blog, I felt more motivated than ever to create a firm that would meet every marketing need of its business clients, regardless of size or niche.  To that end, I founded SunnySide Social Media, a very personal boutique firm that consults, develops, and executes online marketing and social media strategies for locally and nationally-based businesses.

SunnySide prides itself in working seamlessly with its clients' teams to become a valuable asset and champion for their growing brand. My firm blends traditional and social marketing, offering the following services: reputation/reviews management, blog direction and management, and overall social media strategy and execution; each of our clients is provided with a tailored plan that meets their unique and evolving needs.

SunnySide's mission is two-fold: to ensure that its clients feel as though the strategists are not merely third parties, but part of their growing team; and, to leverage each client's brand, by providing unique and tailored strategies that build the company's online presence. Our ultimate goal for each client is to make their target market feel as though they know them, trust them, and like them, all of which translate into brand growth.

I can't even begin to describe the wonderful experience I had with the folks at Insight Lasik. I was referred by a friend of mine, who spoke highly of his LASIK procedure with Dr. Johnson. From the first consultation, to my pre-op, actual surgery, and post-op appointment, I can tell you that these people are in the business of making their patients feel more comfortable with each visit. To give you a little "insight", I'm freaked out by anything coming close to my eyes, so naturally contact lenses were out of the question for me. I'm nearsighted, so I have to wear my glasses at night, when I drive, watch TV, go to the movies, etc. The driving force behind me wanting LASIK was that I'm getting married in less than 3 months and wanted to be able to see all the people at the wedding without my glasses...otherwise I would have continued on another couple of years without corrective surgery. Anyway, they (i.e. Dr. Jackson - such a sweet man) walked me through the whole procedure multiple times, were so amazing during the actual procedure (I think I squeezed Naomi's hand off I was so nervous), and finished me up in no time. During the surgery itself, Dr. Johnson did an amazing job (along with his staff) in talking to me, trying to take my mind off what was going on, and being so gentle through the process. The nurses are fantastic as well - so encouraging and comforting. You could just tell that they were meant to do this job - caring, thoughtful, gentle, and SO kind. I can't speak highly enough of my experience and I would refer them to anyone who asks. Trust me, if I can get through this surgery, anyone can - as long as they are in the right hands.

LOVE Liz!!! We have a mutual friend (and client) for whom I wanted to purchase a gift. I went to Liz because she's the expert when it comes to fashion and interior style (and our friend/client has exceptional taste in both)...and I generally like to let the experts tell me what to do. I told her my price range and asked for her opinion, based on what our mutual friend likes. Within minutes she sent me a couple of websites and a couple of links. She followed up and admitted that there were many options to choose from (...that it could be overwhelming), and would I like for her to send me some gift choices? Uhhh...yes, I would! She sent me about 15 links of products and they all came within my budget. Problem solved. Instead of spending hours agonizing over what I should gift, she made the decision for me. Plain and simple, she went above and beyond - which is generally her style. A few more things you should know about her: she's funny, witty, smart, and SAVVY. You won't be disappointed working with her.

By far one of my favorite new additions to the Denver dining scene. I love this place - everything about it, from the cool decor to the AMAZING food. I've had the Rocket Chop (cornbread croutons are to die for, and the potato + goat cheese combination is perfect to get you through the day, yet still get away with having a very healthy lunch). I've also had the Super Chop with the Short Rib. Excellent. Hard to believe that a 48 hour slow cooked protein is being served at a fast casual restaurant. Be sure to try one of their natural cane sodas as well - black cherry soda!!! YUM. Go, take your friends and kids, you won't be disappointed.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. I'd say the only friendly person at this place was the cheery bartender...which makes me wish we would have just eaten at the bar, although the food quality would have still been sub-par. To start, the hostess basically threw down our menus on the table and left. In fact, we hadn't even gotten to the table and she was already fleeing the scene. No, "your server will be right with you"...nothing. Then our server comes and it starts off okay, pleasant guy, but after bringing our drinks it just goes downhill. We ordered a caesar salad & fries to start and we specifically asked for BBQ sauce for the fries. He delivers the food: fries & no ketchup OR BBQ sauce and a ceasar salad that we have to cut with our knife. They basically threw some romaine leaves on the plate, the tiniest bit of dressing (mind you I'm usually a "dressing on the side girl") and a few warm croutons. The plate itself was warm so the lettuce was a little on the warm side. This was supposed to be their "large"...HA! I still can't get over that I had to cut the freaking salad up. I didn't order a wedge, people! We ask for BBQ sauce and ketchup for the fries and the server brings ketchup. Only. Alright, we'll just wait until he comes back and asks us how our salad & fries are. Nope, doesn't show up for at least 20 minutes and all he asks is if he can take the plates away. So, by this point we've also ordered a wild mushroom & chevre pizza to share. There was nothing wild about those mushrooms. They were white button mushrooms...I was expecting something a little more exciting, but I should have known. The cheese was barely melted and there was like no sauce on this pizza. This brewery has about 9 pizzas on the menu, you'd think they would have perfected all by now. I was going to tell the server what I thought about the salad and pizza as soon as he asked...but he didn't. He never once asked how we were doing, how the food was, nothing. Didn't care. So, I didn't care to go out of my way to let him fix the situation at the restaurant because this was clearly a guy who just didn't care about the patrons' dining experiences. This seemed to be the general vibe of the whole restaurant. We even overheard the manager at one point up in arms because they were getting a 10-top with 6 kids instead of just 3. He seemed a little too peeved about it. Get over it, dude. You run a restaurant...people are going to come in with their families. I doubt this review will change anything there. But I felt I had to leave it. Do yourself a favor and choose a different establishment.

Awesome. From the Pinot Grigio on tap, to the garlic knots, to the eggplant parmesan sandwich, to the delicious and creamy cheesecake. Others in my group enjoyed the spaghetti + ravioli combo and the chicken parmesan. There's also something to be said about the decor - great improvement from their last location, and a beautiful bar. This is a great atmosphere for family time or date night. Everyone was very satisfied!

Biz is an incredible realtor. She's become more than an agent to us; she's become a family member. We bought our home about a year ago and still keep very close contact with her. She's well connected in Denver and knows the various neighborhoods very well. You can't go wrong with her...she's definitely top notch in my book!!
