I really need to put stuff up here more often, especially my own work. But this beautiful anthem, a plea for the day when we all are treated with respect and dignity, is simply too good not to share. Let me know if you agree. I heard about it from my cousin Stephanie Everett-Brown, who lives in Oakland and is an old friend of the singer-composer, Michelle Hailey.

Ben Bagdikian would probably endorse the argument made in this article. Still sounds like PR to me.

We follow NakedPhilly. We love NakedPhilly. We can't really clone NakedPhilly, because they are already doing what they're doing well. I have to take www.phillyliving.com in a different direction. We still should talk soon.

Word-wrangler: Soul of journalist, career of flack, with a reasonable amount of passion.
Introduction
Forever Kansas Citian, adopted Philadelphian. Outgoing, sociable loner with heart of gold and winning personality, or so I've been told. Creative and versatile writer-editor who has launched two award-winning newspapers. Singer in PGMC and member of Marketing and Development committees. Traingeek, mass transit subspecialty. Architecture buff and urbanophile. Lover of music in general and jazz in particular. Decent cook and enthusiastic eater.
Bragging rights
Launched "Postscript" at Widener University; the newspaper for all alumni won a Silver Award for excellence from the College and University Public Relations Association of Pennsylvania (CUPRAP) in 2008 for issues published in 2007. Launched the "Penn Current" at the University of Pennsylvania with 2 others; during my tenure there, the paper won 3 national and 3 regional awards for excellence from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), including a national Gold Medal for Periodical Staff Writing in its first year of publication. Produced the first-ever sold-out house in PGMC history with publicity for 2006 holiday concert.
