I love the Milwaukee Art Museum.  We had the chance to spend some time during the Christmas holiday just focusing on the Calatrava addition.   #architecturephotography   #milwaukee

I had the fortune to be invited to a school in Mumbai to meet the kids, hang out, and take pictures. This stop was my favorite of the whole trip in 2011. Thank you, Amrita for taking us to meet your class.  And thanks to the kids, for being kids.  It doesn't matter where you are in the world, kids are generally the same.  #B&W #India #StreetPhotography

Sunday morning at Grand Central Terminal.  The coffee shops are open and it's a sleepy time in the generally bustling food court.   #NYC #GrandCentral #blackandwhitestreetphotography   #streetphotography     #monochromeworld   #monochromephotography

Here's another one from the classroom. The kids were asked to be quiet for a few minutes, but not all of them were good at it. These three were definitely squirming in their seats. #India

I was inspired by +Eric Meola at #PPE to go back and revisit some images from Antarctica and Iceland.  In my perusal, I found this image.  Thanks, Eric! #Iceland

I'm so excited to be going back to India this November. This is a "found" photo from my last trip in 2011. This was taken in Jodhpur, which is known as the "Blue City", but this clearly wasn't taken in the section of the old town that is painted all blue.

Introduction

My interest in photographing ethnic diversity and bio-diversity has led me to explore many lands including Cambodia, India, and Antarctica.  Here in the US, I'm passionate about using my camera to capture the beauty of the American landscape. Highlighting the unfamiliar within that well known landscape, I document disappearing beauty, changing weather, and unique perspectives. I've received recognition in numerous local and international competitions including the Epson Pano Awards, several Juror's Choice Awards with the Connecticut Association of Photographers, and the Jury Grand Prize at the Fairfield Museum and History Center. My work has appeared in art galleries, corporate brochures, and calendars. I also present at local and regional camera clubs in the Northeast.

good location at the stamford mall. nice outside seating in the good weather months. food is ok, but not worth writing home about. average and not inventive. good bar.

"a standby for the happy hour crowd and sports enthusiasts. tvs line almost every inch of space. wings and wedges with the hot sauce are our favorites. don't be scared of spicy food, as they offer a full ""temperature"" scale of sauces. "

this is our favorite mexican in stamford. the location is a little out of the main stream in a strip mall part of town. but it's worth the trip. the ceviche is delicious. portions are generous.

first off, they have a really good beer selection. where else can you get stone beers? inventive and ecclectic pizzas grilled on premise in a traditional brick oven. kids love the nutella and marshmallow pizza for desert.
