New Kaleidoscope Blog Post! Three Ways to Drop an Egg.
http://www.enrichscience.com/2014/04/egg-drops-three-ways/
It's a classic physics activity: Drop a raw egg from a height and make sure it doesn't crack. Here are three ways to explore this fun design challenge.

This is a super fun science project: smartphone to digital microscope!

This is fascinating and opens new doors to understanding how life on Earth is interconnected.

"What do a 40-ton whale and near-weightless butterfly have in common? They both migrate every year, along with billions of other animals like ducks, turtles and moths. Now, a new study in Science explains how important migration is to shaping ecosystems on Earth.

The role of migratory species – those that move from one place to another seasonally – is more important than many have thought."

Always something new to discover in space...

"The rings of Saturn are one of the most spectacular sights in the sky. Less striking rings have also been found around all the other giant planets in our Solar System – Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune. But despite many careful searches, no rings had been found around smaller objects in the Solar System — until now."

An inspiring story of a young Maker!
When MIT discovered Kelvin, he was living in utter poverty. But that didn't stop this engineering whiz kid from building something amazing.
