I am not able to eat anything cured with any of these. I react to nitrates, nitrites, with horrible migraine headaches. Your regular store bought ham, bacon, sausage, etc, and I am in bad shape.
Nitroglycerin (that under the tongue pill for angina) gives some folks migraines - same mechanism - dilates blood vessels.

There are more and more of these favorites (bacon, ham, sausage etc) that are now made with NO preservatives, "all natural". Many people are catching on.

Original tires on my 2009 Saturn VUE were wearing down, vehicle was just out of its 5 year warrantee, and the local dealer who had taken over for Saturn was trying to scam me, saying I needed very costly work that was not needed. We plan to keep the car for a long time, as it is low mileage, and we were looking for a local place to get good tires and do regular service on the vehicle. We are locals, and believe in supporting local merchants. Ellsworth took plenty of time to go over our tire needs so he could suggest the best options. He was very patient with my little-old-lady type questions. (what is this about nitrogen?) We got a great set of tires (and a rebate). We have gone back for several oil changes and routine maintenance, odd noises, and the charges are so so reasonable, I feel like we are back in the 60's. No charge for tire rotation or nitrogen filups for the tires, as; covered with the tire purchase. I stopped by when my tail light popped out of the back of the car... Ellsworth popped it back in, and wouldn't charge. They have done several other minor things like that, and never take advantage. Rhonda is a gem, and has driven me back home and picked me up when I had to leave the car. Nice seating, WiFi, TV, a TON of assorted and up to date magazines, and.. a Keurig coffee brewer with a great selection of coffees. This is a good local company. I trust them fully, and feel like I am with family. Highly recommend.

NOW I understand what people mean when they rave about NY or Chicago Pizza. In all my 73 years, most living in Miami, I have NEVER. NEVER EVER.. had such an incredible pizza! Husb and I moved to Stuart from Miami and N.C. 5 years ago. Have been asking everyone.. WHERE can we get some decent Italian food! Tried half a dozen places, from chains to supposed gourmet. They were all blech!! Neighbor told us to try Vesuvio's. My first visit was today. So I ordered a 12" pizza to take home. I got a 12" with half eggplant and half mushroom toppings. Wow, got a free soda. Wow, the price was less than chain places with coupons. Wow, it was made from scratch from the git go.. No reheating of a cheese pie here! I got to WAIT (this is a GOOD THING!) while my food was being prepared. OMG it is totally dangerous to hang out. Look at the homemade fresh baked cookies, cakes, pies, biscotti, cannoli, can get espresso, cappuccino, combos with various deserts. Oh boy. And look at the dinner menu! I want it all! Brought my pizza home and hubby and I had incredible experience with crispy crust, freshest melty cheese; the eggplant chunks topping was crisped on the top but plenty awesome flavor. We shall go back soon.. only it will be for dinner. And salad. And fresh baked garlic knots. And espresso and deserts! Sorry for the ranting and raving. I am in heaven!

Wonderful place to live. There are covenants / rules that are explained in detail before one purchases a unit here. It is very plain that no pets are allowed. If a person wants to have a cat, they should not move into a complex where it is stated that they are not allowed!!! The management here is wonderful, the grounds are lovely, it is a fantastic place to live. Just because someone thinks they are entitled to ignore what is written in plain English, and that they SIGNED that they agreed to abide by these rules.. don't listen to those complaints. Vista Pines is great!

Arlene Jaffe, DDS has to be the best dentist I have ever ever been to. She was able to do a total reconstruction of my teeth that a bad dentist had mangled many years ago. Corrected my jaw alignment, and totally stopped my jaw from popping out of joint. She worked with me to develop a plan which suited me; I didn't want any implants, and I wanted any bridges to be permanent, not removable. We needed to do crowns on all teeth, which I knew before I went to her, as they had all been ground down to nubs by the awful crock "dentist" of years ago. Because of having to build up my entire bottom teeth, and realigning the jaw and bite, she went very slowly, to make sure to not traumatize the jawbone. She had explained all this and we discussed and made the plan together, which was an ongoing process. Every step was discussed as we went along.. Although it was a LOT of hours in the chair, Dr Jaffe was ever so gentle. I actually fell asleep in the chair while she was removing old crowns and fillings. She caused me no pain. Yes, some discomfort after some sessions, as major work was being done. I now have 3 permanent bridges. My teeth look gorgeous, and the entire bottom of my face now looks like it should. Having correct occlusion actually got rid of some of those wrinkles around my mouth and what was a receded jawline. Dr Jaffe's charges were reasonable and sensible, in view of the immense amount of work done, and the number of hours she spent - not just with me in person, but in her working with molds, temporaries, studying, and planning how to best do this work. Her Office manager Pam is a gem. Stayed in touch with me in working appointments, and I felt like Dr Jaffe, the other dentists in the office, the entire office staff CARED about me. Awesome dental practice, awesome people. Highly recommend.
