Let me start this column with a slightly rhetorical question - what is the main function of a stock market? It is to raise capital for a new business or investment opportunity, if one were to answer the question in a conventional sort of way. As Satyajit Das writes in his new book The Age of ...

Humans are prolific procrastinators. It’s easy to make plans and throw dates on your calendar, and yet it’s practically inevitable that you’ll let some deadlines fly by with reckless abandon. Our brains simply prefer instant rewards to long-term payoffs. Given this tendency, we often have to resort to crazy strategies to get things done.

Most of prevention is fairly straightforward and, unfortunately, there are no shortcuts. Then again, the most important steps you can take to safeguard your health are well within your reach.

Visit NMH for great food and good service. The ambiance is just about okay. This is an amazing breakfast place. I have tried almost all items in their menu. I love plain dose and Vade here. Recently I tried Bisibele bath and Mosarode. Liked both of them. You may want to mention "less oil" while ordering plain Dose. I find Doses here to be bit too oily(and they don't give paper napkins!). Service is good but not great. Yeah, you get served what you order. That's about it. Do not expect the servers to smile or return your smiles. The place looks old(well, it IS old). Old style wooden benches are comfortable enough for a breakfast and/or Kaapi. I think the place could be and look more cleaner if they had a proper glass door. Though the price feels bit high, I am happy with it as the quality of the food justifies it. Breakfast for 2 may easily hit 200. What I din't like: Bare foot servants. Sorry, I fail to understand the point(if there is one)! Must try: Badam Halwa & Chiroti if you in to sweets. Kaapi and Vade. Also you can try their "Chapati meals" in the noon. It's really good. Would go there again(may be sometime soon). Overall I'd give, Food: 4.5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 3.5/5 Price: 4/5
