This is fun. I hadn't seen how Google+ creates a story with your photos. It's a bit like Medium, but with images only.

San Telmo Loft is a boutique vacation rental listing service located in Buenos Aires. We've hand picked each apartment in our small collection so that you don't have to spend hours weeding through the blah and mundane. Quirky and stylish, comfortable and quiet (a bit plus in this noisy city), each listing is well-located and comes with our stamp of approval.

We stayed at The Loft in San Telmo on our honeymoon recently. Angela and Virginie were fantastic in communication and Virginie was a great host and gave us lots of great tips. The loft is in a brilliant location and felt very safe and secure. It is quirky and different and we really enjoyed staying there. The only thing was that it does not have much natural light but this is just due to the nature of the building. I would definitely recommend here and also Angela and Virginie who were so helpful. Thanks very much.

This place was more than excellent. My husband and I spent a week here on our honeymoon. We loved feeling like a local rather than a tourist. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, and Angela is the best concierge EVER! She showed us around the neighborhood, gave us lists on recommended places to go and things to do, even called for us to make reservations at a fabulous restaurant on our last day. They provide you with a cell phone, for emergencies, which we never used, but were at ease to have it just in case. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The San Telmo loft was a perfect choice for our vacation in Buenos Aires: wonderful apartment in a historic building, fabulous location, great price, and brilliant management! The loft itself was just perfect. We prefer staying in apartments instead of hotels when visiting a new city, and while we always enjoy the chance to live “like a local,” this apartment exceeded our expectations. Fun, hip, and in a turn-of-the-century building with historical features like high ceilings, tiled floors in the hallways and period iron scrollwork elevator (psst--Angela, the rumors were right--it is an original Roux-Combaluzier elevator, the very same French company who supplied two of the original four elevators in the Eiffel Tower for the 1889 World’s Fair in Paris)...but with all of the modern conveniences that made my husband glad of our choice too, including super water pressure in the shower! The location can’t be beat, either. The building is on a busy enough street that it made catching a taxi just outside the door super easy at any time we wanted to go a longer distance (though our apartment was deliciously quiet, perfect for afternoon siestas), but it’s also right in the heart of San Telmo, one of Buenos Aires’s coolest and most picturesque neighborhoods, just a few minute’s walk to Plaza Dorrego, the heart of the district. While we were there we ran into several other people who were either current or past tenants of the loft or other apartments that Angela manages, and all had nothing but great things to say about Angela and the apartments--most of them had stayed in Angela’s apartments before and had booked with her again for a return visit (which we would absolutely do, too)...that’s the best recommendation there is!

First off San Telmo has got to be one of the best places to stay in Buenos Aires, it's right in the middle of everything. Tango, great restaurants, shopping or just looking at all the wonderful architecture its just right there all around you, and everything else is a short cab ride away. We really liked the loft itself too, so much nicer than some Americanized hotel! Lots of room and a great little rooftop patio. Perfect for coming back and relaxing in after a day exploring without loosing the charm of San Telmo. We really felt like we got to experience Buenos Aires staying there. Of course this was in no small part because Angela is such a great hostess. Whether it was pointing us to a swanky club, recommending a great restaurant or teaching us some local expressions in spanish Angela had us feeling right at home and like real Portenos in no time flat.

My husband Adam and I stayed at one of the San Telmo lofts for a week and had an amazing time! I cannot say enough good things about our experience. The contact: Angela was incredibly helpful and friendly. She provided a very detailed packet of information for us to help plan our stay (so handy), arranged transportation to and from the airport, and was easy to reach by phone or email. The loft: Our apartment in San Telmo was fantastic! The ceilings are sky high, the price was great, and the decor was funky and unique. What more could you want? The location / San Telmo: I had read some reviews about San Telmo being unsafe, and let me tell you, I never once felt that way. There are plenty of street lights and lots of people walking around. But more importantly, there is a plethora of delicious restaurants and parillas, cozy antique shops to peruse, tango dancing in the plaza, and a huuuuuge flea market on Sundays. I'm so happy we stayed in San Telmo! Highly recommend. Can't wait to go back!

My friend and I went down to BA to escape the Texas heat and were more than pleasantly suprised (to say the least) with the amazing apartment we rented from Angela. I can say without question that if I am lucky enough to make it back down I would not stay any where else. When we arrived Angela give us a tour of the neighborhood and some local inside tips on places to go. We decided that we wanted to take the ferry over to Uruguay she not only allowed us to use her computer she sat and helped translate the website for us. If I could leave 6 stars I would. Thank you Angela for helping to make it a perfect trip!

My first trip ever out of the United States was to visit Buenos Aires and I absolutely loved staying at San Telmo Loft. Instead of staying at an "americanized" hotel, I was able to experience how the locals live in Buenos Aires and San Telmo Loft was the perfect place to experience it and a great way to get the vibe of the city. Angela was an amazing hostess...giving me plenty of information to help me become acclimated to the city and even inviting me up to her place several times to enjoy a nice bottle or two of wine. The loft was very clean, comfortable, and quiet...just what you need after a long day of site seeing!!

San Telmo Loft is a wonderful little nest with all the comforts of home, in the midst of gorgeous and exciting San Telmo and Buenos Aires. My husband and I are from Seatte, and we stayed at the Loft for our honeymoon in Dec. 2009. We could not have been happier. Angela (one of the owners, our contact and sometimes savior) was so sweet and helpful with tips. The neighborhood of San Telmo has wonderful restaurants, bars, and shops. (We loved Cualquier Verdura, on Humberto Primo) Your loft comes with a prepaid cell phone for emergency tips and taxis. The water pressure in the shower was impressive, and it was wonderful to have a fridge and microwave for leftovers and empanadas from the bakery. I highly recommend staying at the San Telmo loft . I would not hesitate to return, and hope that I am able to do so some day.
