#ThirstyThursday calls for a delicious, exciting, & unique cocktail recipe. Try this yummy Kahlua Float for an ice cream treat with an adult twist.

Kahlua Float

Ingredients:
1 tsp. Corn Syrup
1 Tbsp. Chocolate Sprinkles
1 Scoop Espresso or Coffee Ice Cream
1.5 oz. Kahlua
1/8 to ¼ cup San Sebastian Blanc de Fleur Sparkling Wine
 
Prep:
Pour corn syrup into small dish, gently roll the rim of champagne flute in the syrup and coat the rim of flute with sprinkles.  Toss leftover sprinkles into bottom of glass.
Scoop ice cream into glass.
Pour Kahlua over ice cream.
Top off the glass with Blanc de Fleur.
ENJOY!

Did you know April is National Grilled Cheese Month? What better way to revamp a childhood favorite, than by adding your adulthood favorite, wine! Try this recipe perfectly combining the two into an epic treat of wine and cheesy heaven.

Ingredients
2 slices French bread
1-2 Tbsp. butter
½ red onion (chopped)
1 clove garlic (minced)
Dash of rosemary
Dash of thyme
1 Tbsp. flour
¾ cup Castillo Red Wine
½ cup shredded Gruyere cheese
Instructions
1.     In a pan on medium heat, melt butter.
2.     Add onion, mixing into butter.
3.     Once the onions begin to soften, add garlic, thyme and rosemary.
4.     Sauté for a couple of minutes.
5.     Sprinkle about a Tbsp. flour, mixing in until incorporated.
6.     Once mixed, slowly add wine stirring constantly to blend.
7.     Reduce until alcohol has burned off and the reduction is thick enough to coat a spoon.
8.     Spread reduction on each slice of bread.
9.     Add Gruyere.
10.  Butter the outside of each slice.
11.  Grill in a pan on medium heat until golden brown on each side.
12.  Serve with a glass of Castillo Red Wine and enjoy the cheesy goodness!
