Mars and Earth will be aligned with the sun tonight! Make sure to look up and take some pictures!
Skywatchers will get a rare treat Tuesday night, when Mars, Earth, and the sun will be arranged in a nearly-straight line.

2014's first total lunar eclipse tonight! Here's what to expect and where to look.
The spectacle is often more beautiful and interesting than one would think. During the time that the moon is entering into and later emerging from out of the Earth's shadow, secondary phenomena may be overlooked.

Great. I highly recommend it, especially the flight simulator at the end.

Tons of airplane history... but mostly from WWI and WWII. Very little 'space' which is what I went there for. Staff was a little pushy on the things that earn the museum extra income.

Outstanding displays that take you through the history of flight. Fun and educational way to spend an afternoon. Expect a lot of people if you go on the free Tuesday.

Coolest museum in Balboa Park next to the Photography exhibit. This place was rad, I took my little brother he loved it, even I was entertained for hours! Great way to kill a few hours for less than 10 bucks..
