For the 2014 season, the one amenity that the San Antonio KOA should add is __________________.

Many campers wait until Memorial Day Weekend to unleash their inner camper but we have it on good authority that the veterans plan their getaways a few weeks earlier. Why? Because we're offering a FREE night to anyone who wants to Come Camp & Care with us on May 9th & 10th!

Have stayed her twice overnight while traveling to or from California. Very convenient campsite just 10 minutes from downtown. Easy access from freeways but very little traffic noise in campground. Nice walkway near small river lines the campground. Took the city bus to the Riverwalk because we did not want to disconnect our truck from the 5th Wheel. Only cost $2.20 round trip and was picked up and dropped off right in front of the park. Lots of trees but no problem navigating our 40 foot camper through the park.

Very nice campground. Very helpful staff, well maintained grounds, clean restrooms. very close to DTN and Alamo / River Walk It is very quiet. Easy access to all of the connecting freeways but no noise. The site is wooded with lots of shade and a great trail.

This is a very nice campground. Very friendly and helpful staff, well maintained grounds, clean restrooms. I like that is is in an industrial area near downtown. It is very quiet. No noise from the businesses or neighbors and is 10 minutes to downtown by car or 25 min bus ride. Easy access to all of the connecting freeways but no noise. The site is wooded with lots of shade and a great trail that goes along the creek and golf course. Great play ground for the kids. I don't know what else to ask for except maybe a beach.

The staff was informative and very pleasant, the cabin we stayed in was clean and cozy, my family enjoyed the grounds very much, it was very understandable why this koa won the 2015 award. I'm sure we will be back.

Stayed here for two nights during the 4th of July. Park is easy to get to, close to the city and we'll maintained. Staff is top notch, little store was adiquate. Personally, I'm more of an RV resort guy, but my wife likes the camp style parks. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is somewhere by the dog park a camper was went in their black tank, and that's gross and smells terrible, and we had to wear bracelets on the 4th because non paying guest have a way of getting on, I think they should've controlled the entryway and put bracelets on those people instead of park guests. And they didn't have propane in stock. But, that's not a big deal. Food places on the grounds are great as well. Bus stop out front across the street. Roads are tight, but the spaces are pretty wide. I stayed here for two nights, with two dogs, in a 37 foot Fifth Wheel toy hauler.

I love the atmosphere. Feels like you are out in the country, but close to everything. We go every year at rodeo time and sometimes for anniversary. Staff is ALWAYS accommodating, even when extremely busy. Have been going here off and on for 30 years. Won't stay anywhere else while in SA.

Nice place- very nice pool and showers, good playground. Not best we've been to though. Right in industrial part of town, many people there are long term residents
