I had a horrible experience at MinuteMan Press on Francis Lewis Blvd. Read my review there. I went there with this bigoted notion that native-English speaking, American businesses would have the best service and quality, but I learned the hard way that was far from true. Korean-owned NY Speedy Printing turned out to be a hidden gem in Flushing. Here's a breakdown of the difference between the two: Minuteman NY Speedy Turaround time 1-day 1-day View proofs No Yes card stock cheap like Vistaprint Amazing. silk laminate print quality worse than VistaPrint Amazing, sharp, vibrant. Quantity 250 500 Price $35 $50 Service Terrible. Greedy. Great. Free minor touchups Policy No refunds ever Refunds if reasonable BTW, I made the mistake of trusting Google reviews (and Minuteman's sales pitch to me) on going here. After my BIG mistake, I looked at the reviews and realized 4 of the 5 earlier reviews were fishy. They're all from 3 years ago, have 5 stars and are from anonymous non-verified users (you can't click on the their names like you can with real people). My review is the first on NY Speedy Printing so you know they don't plant fake reviews like Minuteman Press does.

Food is 5 stars. Absolutely incredible food. I would give it 6 stars. It's my favorite restaurant food in Queens, no contest. But I give this four stars because of the service. Service is like 2 stars on its own. It's not that they're just slow. And it's not the food (which needs to take 15 to prepare to taste delicious) that causes the slow service. The waiters simply don't seem to care. They aren't attentive. They kind of lounge around in the back. Waiting on tables seems to be an afterthought - a sort of distraction from what they actually want to do. When you have two waiters working together on only 5 occupied tables and you have to raise your hands for about 30-60 seconds to get any attention for anything at all, that's pretty pretty bad. I think it's the 15% gratuity that makes it this way. They aren't incentivized to provided great service. Or maybe this is how tables are served from this culture. Whatever the case, it's slow. Super slow.
