I am a semi-pro photographer and web developer from Nebraska. I began shooting film back in the late 70's. A couple of years later, I stopped shooting to pursue a career in technology. In the mid 90's, I picked up a camera again (digital) and have not quit since. In recent years, I have narrowed my focus to shoot mostly food, products and landscape, with a small amount of portraiture.
On my 48th birthday, I developed a brain tumor and had to have surgery. That left my face paralyzed on one side, hearing gone on the one side & effective loss of site in one of my eyes. Because of this, I became even more sedentary and gained 100 extra lbs., and developed diabetes. About a year later, I discovered the Insanity workout program and transformed my life. I have gotten into the best shape of my life. I workout nearly every day using various Beachbody programs, eat clean, and basically go forward in life kicking ass! My new mantra is, "I'm healthier today, because I exercised."
