New analysis finds Illinois can get 75 percent of the way to its CPP emissions-reduction target just through its existing clean energy policies and opportunities.

Since the SCOTUS decision to 'stay' the Clean Power Plan, many states have weighed in on the decision: 16 states will continue to plan for compliance with the rule, 12 states have suspended planning efforts, eight states have yet to announce any planning process, and six states are still reviewing their options post-stay.
Last week, in an unprecedented move, SCOTUS ruled 5-4 to stay EPA’s CPP. Here's what the states are doing in response:
