Bring together your local developer community while taking part in I/O festivities by hosting an I/O Extended event in your neighborhood. Who knows...your event might even get a shout out during the #io16 event in Mountain View, CA!
The agenda for I/O Extended is totally up to you. You can live stream the I/O keynote & sessions, invite local guest speakers, demo products, organize a hackathon, and more.
To get started with organizing an I/O Extended event:
- Create a public RSVP page for your event using an event platform of your choice.
- Register your public event on the I/O Extended website (https://goo.gl/5S14QD) so that it appears on the I/O Extended map at google.com/io. Note: If you’re a Google Developer Group (GDG), please register your event via developer.google.com/events.
