Why mesh networking beats the pants off WiFi:

#IoT +Pinoccio
Mesh networks are amazing — they're crazy efficient, extendable, resillient, autonomous, and decentralized. Lucky for us, Pinoccio has all of this baked right in.

I love this project! There are a bunch of reasons why controlling your TV via your computer is helpful (and friggin' cool). For Chris, who has limited mobility, he's able to take advantage of the assistive technologies on his computer, in order to control his Television. And it's all +Pinoccio enabled.

Very cool project, thanks Chris!!

Here's a blog post about what I've been doing with Pinoccio. Includes a YouTube video. http://tech.cyborg5.com/?p=633
As mentioned in the video I have not yet released my source code for the Pinoccio port of my IRLib but I will do so very soon. The source code is now available on GitHub here. Read more about Pinoccio (and yes it really is spelled without an “h”) at https://pinocc.io.
