This holiday season, share a gift from your kitchen – rosemary maple roasted cashews. These maple roasted cashews are equally welcome as a holiday gift, for a housewarming, or for a game day snack when a crowd is over. They’re a combination of sweet, salty, savory, spicy and crunchy.
Rosemary maple roasted cashews. Sweet, savory, spiced, crunchy, & totally addictive! Great game day nibble, with cocktails, or as a thank you gift.

No-cheese sauce, vegan cheese sauce, cheesy sauce, non-dairy cheese sauce, but there is no real cheese in it. I’m just not sure what to call this, except delicious! And its so easy to make. And versatile. And vegan. And gluten-free. Sorry. Just make some!
Vegan cheese sauce, a cheesy savory sauce without dairy thanks to nutritional yeast. Use in place of dairy cheese sauce, over vegetables, chicken or fish

While it might not sound too appetizing, nutritional yeast has a pleasant, cheesy, savory, nutty kind of taste. As I’ve been using it in creating new recipes, I thought I better help you understand what it is before I post those new recipes for a cheesy sprinkle, vegan pesto (no Parmesan) and a terrific no-cheese sauce.

Need a refreshing, thirst-quenching drink to combat the heat of summer? Here is your answer. And it cools you down without any alcohol or sugar. Sparkling mineral water, fresh mint, flavored liquid stevia drops, and the secret ingredient – vinegar. Yes, vinegar.
Cool, refreshing and sparkling, this mint and raspberry shrub has no added sugar and no alcohol. Make it with raspberry vinegar. Yes vinegar. It's terrific.

June Gloom. What we who live in California suffer through this time of year. No sun, gray damp days. Not the California you think of in what is supposed to be the start of summer. I've just updated my beef and vegetable stew post with new notes on beef and bone broth, and updated the recipe. An old favorite refreshed and re-published. Hope you enjoy! #bonebroth   #beef   #stew  #classic #recipe
beef and vegetable stew with tender top sirloin and lots of vegetables, done in a pressure cooker to save time. Without one, simmer until tender.

While summer tomatoes are abundant, grab a few baskets and roast them. So easy, delicious and versatile.
Herb roasted cherry tomatoes have a sweet, concentrated flavor. Use in a myriad of ways, with chicken, omelets, for appetizers and to stuff mushrooms.

Cheesy-tasting but no cheese? Yes! This versatile, dairy free cheesy sprinkle tastes sort of like Parmesan. You might call it vegan parmesan. Its wonderful for people who either choose not to or just can't eat dairy.

With ground meat, spices, onion and garlic you can have this spicy taco filing ready in 10 minutes! I've made it over and over the last few weeks for lunch. Use it on tortillas or butter lettuce leaves for wraps. Quick, easy and healthy!
