This resort is incredibly beautiful and luxurious. They have two restaurants on site with incredible food, as well as meeting space, a spa and large gathering areas with fire places and comfy chairs. The rooms are specious and very nice, particularly the bathrooms. The adjacent town is within walking distance and is full of great shops, cafes and history. I came here for a conference, but will definitely be back with my husband for a personal getaway! It's a very romantic destination.

Wonderful service....I did a couples massage and we absolutely loved it. Steam room, small pool/hot tub, lovely showers in the men's/women's bathroom and the couples room has an amazing hot tub on the outside and lounge area on the inside with a nice bath. We will be back!!

Salamander Resort & Spa is a really top notch place. Immaculately maintained and extremely well appointed. The staff is top notch. It's expensive, but you get what you pay for.

I was invited to stay here one night last week by a vendor that I work with. Everything was being paid by them. However, you have to give them a credit card when you check in to cover incidentials. Unknown to me that the hold on my credit card was $200. This seems to me a little high. when I arrived to my room I could not get in after trying several times my key card wouldn't work. So I had to go all the way back down stairs to get this resolved. During my stay I had dinner with by party and went back to my room to find that something didn't seem right. I started to notice that things in my room had been moved around. I realized without any notice that there was people in my room from the resort cleaning up that evening. I just got here I don't need anyone to clean up. I know housekeeping comes in everyday after your night stay to freshen up things or even clean but there should be some sort of notice that people will enter your room when your not there outside of the usual cleaning. So after my stay, I happened to check my checking account and noticed the $200 charge and then there was a charge for $96.29 on my account as well So i call them that day and left a message with a gentlemen and never received a call back. The next day I called again and a lady answered and looked into why my card was charge again and said that there computer just charges your card if it seems something unusual. So now I am $300 out for a room that I was not paying for. They told me it would come in a couple of days, its been almost a week and just now the $200 was returned but not the $96.29. I explained to her that I did not authorize this charge and was not told about it. I do not appreciate their computers charging your card when it feels like it. Unfortunately, my first time here was not a great experience and I am still dealing with it a week later.

Everyone was friendly attentive, got checked in within minutes of arriving. Had our car valet parked, which was nice, the parking lot is kinda far away. Our room had all of the amenities that i could ask for. Beds were comfy and very clean. I fell asleep with our fireplace on, oops. Brunch was excellent, although we didn't make reservations and had to be seated in the wine bar section. The spa facilities area the best I've experienced with a heated jacuzzi, Steam room, and a shower with different programmable themes. Overall experience was wonderful, will save up and return

The resort is beautiful. The rooms are comfortable, the grounds are amazing, and the food is wonderful. We were lucky to have dinner in the culinary garden. It was a beautiful environment and the meal the delicious. The mozzarella and roasted red pepper salad and the flank steak stood out among seven or eight tasty options. I hope I can come back soon.

Endless possibilities! The Salamander Resort is the canvas for organizing a luxurious stay. Whatever you want to achieve for a vacation, bridal reception, cooking classes, horse back riding, and much more, exist here. The Salamander Inn is a GEM that must be respected! My visit was for a birthday celebration for a family member and the staff didn't disappoint my expectations... perfect.
