Beautiful Weather, Wonderful Sanibel Sailing

We've had some wonderful sailing conditions this spring, making for beautiful sailing here in Southwest Florida.

Skipper Bud and I had the pleasure recently of taking a family across San Carlos Bay to Pt. Ybel at the eastern tip of Sanibel Island. Winds were out of the SSW at about 12 knots, which gave us plenty of wind to get our catamaran Old Glory up and moving. At times we saw 4 knots boat speed over the ground...not bad!

Our guests were greeted by a pod of about eight dolphins that swam over to us on the way over to the island. This instantly excited everyone and they had a great vantage point from up on the bow trampoline lounge area. The kids loved it!
