A small operating system written in C. Currently it does nothing but have a display driver and prints colored text on screen.

"Someone who is imprisoned for a long time is used to being looked after there, institutionalized.. and when they get out they cannot adjust and might commit another crime to get back inside. But given enough time they might love Freedom." seems legit

people can be unaware of the restrictions upon them until they experience a world of more control and choice...even if not everything is better the choice, control, security and creativity can make it worth it....and of course in Linux many things are better though...but of course due to global economic circumstances and structures, and due to its nature, funding etc. Windows/Mac also have advantages...but cooking for yourself can be more fulfilling then going to a restaurant....you decide when to eat, you know where the food comes from, you cook it how you want, flavour it how you want, present it how you want...and eat as little or as much as you need/like.

Hence proved Ubuntu is "User Friendly", and with a bit of common sense every other regular user would find it simple, easy, and logical enough to use.

That's what I thought initially, but then I realized that she made exactly the needed questions, just for a very simple reason: Those are the same questions and the same mindset from most of people. To really understand and believe on what Stallman preaches you need to put those arguments on a dialectic debate against what most of citizens think. A good journalist needs to be smart, but at the same time they must be naive and challenge the interviewee by making questions from the ignorance and opposite positions. Sometimes she has a face like "aham, I don't give a flying f*ck about what you're saying", but actually I think it's her face by default :P . Also, in the end she had correctly conducted successfully the interview as they have discussed about a very good set of key topics.

Nevertheless, the true star of the show is Mr. Stallman, for sure! :)

The woman is a perfect example of evolution going mad. I mean, kill it before it lays eggs. And why on Earth Richard Dawkins would degrade himself by interviewing this emissary of absolute stupidity.

The world is run by softwares. So basically anyone with a substantial knowledge of computer programming can change the world. Let 2015 be the year of free and open source software and Linux. Let it be the year of good software.

/* begin Ramayana */
/* Note: Lankya Kanda Begins from Chapter 3 */
#Chapter_1:
"xtuali the os is hardware dependent it runs only when physically flashed on to the my innovated microchip..cause the hardware that i invented is slightly difrnt from the traditional one's it uses intel's all new bay trail processor and also revobook has"
- Afreed Islam

What is this?

"as i said i made it hardware dependent so unix was the better option for me...to make it hardware dependent as unix is available on PA-RISC and Itanium machines. Solaris also available for x86/x64 based systems.OSX is PowerPC(10.0-10.5)/x86(10.4)/x64(10.5-10.8)"
- Afreed Islam

Implying Linux doesn't support those architectures

#Chapter_2:
"..examples for, the invention are described herein for illustrative purposes only..."

What kind of sorcery is this?

[Ref: http://ipindiaservices.gov.in/patentsearch/search/index.aspx
patent no: 473/KOL/2013 ]

#Chapter_3: [This is a going to be a Bomb]
Patent status says,
.................................................................................
"Request For Examination not filed".
.................................................................................
WHAT?? wait WHAT???????

[Ref: http://ipindiaservices.gov.in/patentsearch/search/index.aspx
patent no: 473/KOL/2013 ]

#Chapter_4:
"The program embedded in the microchip provides the environment and features of two different kernel modules enabling user to perform different kernel processes simultaneously with the other"

Ok. I am speechless.

[Ref: http://ipindiaservices.gov.in/patentsearch/search/index.aspx
patent no: 473/KOL/2013 ]

#Chapter_5:
So Gnu/Linux(or BSD) + KDE + wine is an independent OS.

#Conclusion: Money cannot buy happiness but it can surely buy patents, media attention and honors.

// Well said bro and the concept of "microchip-run computer" is just ridiculous
//and unclear, I mean he must be speaking of an already existing SSD drives
//which he claims to be an "microchip-run computer".
