We had our son's 6th birthday party at Sahara Sam's. It was the worst experience we have ever had at any facility. Four of our guess had to wait 45 minutes before they were let in to join our group. They had one person operating two water slides which made the lines very long. The patrons were not what you would call polite, for lack of a better term "Low Life's". The adults were cutting in front of the smaller children; the food we purchased was not enough to feed our group of children. Moreover, for the price of the pizza and platter, we could have feed an army by going to Costco. We had to tell the employee to get more drinks for the kids; we also had to tell her we needed more chairs, which should have been apparent by the 6 people having to stand. We asked to see the manager who never came. There is nowhere to put your coats or gifts other than the floor. After such a horrible party the following day I was able to speak with the director of operations Daniel Freehing. That was like talking to a wall he offered no compensation no apology just made one excuse after the other. Bottom line I will never take my family there again!!!

This place is absolutely amazing! They have an indoor water park with awesome rides, an arcade, a cafeteria with delicious food and a bar for the adults. That's just inside. Outside they have a wave pool that makes you feel like you're at the beach! They have cabanas, kids pools and everything you can imagine. This is a great place to throw a birthday party or go to just relax and let the kids play - or enjoy the rides yourself! Highly recommended!!

Sahara Sam's Oasis is an EXCELLENT place for anyone!! As a Father with a large family and small children, we all really enjoyed our time at Sahara Sam's. Everything was perfect - the rides/attractions, the people/management/staff, the safety was perfect and so was the food. I will definitely come again with my family, and I highly recommend to anyone -- such a friendly and fun place!! - Steven Burda -

We went on a Saturday and it was "sold out". It was crowded to the point of being dangerous especially in the little kid section. I could not imagine that they didn't go over their legal occupancy and that it wasn't a health hazard. We had all day tickets but left early because we couldn't take it anymore—hour-long lines for the few attractions they have; 45-minute waits for the changing rooms and bathrooms. And the tickets are so cheap compared to other water parks because the food is ASTRONOMICALLY priced—NINE CHICKEN NUGGETS and a bucket of fries for THIRTY DOLLARS!!! Never again!

The place is over crowded and over priced. I have been there twice and both times was the same. There is no place to sit, and people put there towels on chairs to hold them. I paid a lot of money for a birthday package that I thought included some token but it did not. The girls I took were all 12 so they loved it running around from ride to ride and that is great for them, but NEVER ever again and the locker room are is ridicules there is NO room. It's run horribly! The birthday party was lame! Save your money. If I ever went again it would be during the day during the week when most people including my self work then it might be better. But NEVER again on a Saturday afternoon. And the ignorance of some of the people, they let their kids run all over the place, they butt in line and have no respect for others. And that is not right to us parents that are struggling in today's society to raise a respectful child.

My family (including my 5 1/2 year-old and 10 year-old) had an absolute blast spending a chilly winter-like day swimming indoors in this warm indoor water park. The temperature inside was perfect for splashing the day away and my kids are already begging to visit again once the outdoor water park opens this May. I will have to say - the park was quite crowded the day we visited, as there was more traffic than usual due to the kids being off from school for spring break. We chose to wait until afternoon to visit and after about an hour of play, we started to see the crowds begin to thin out. I will have to say, I was happy to see plenty of lifeguards throughout the park as well as at each individual attraction and they did a great job keeping the crowds under control and enforcing the safety of everyone enjoying the park. The attractions were a ton of fun and although we were not brave enough to attempt it, we had just as much fun watching plenty of other visitors braving "Flow Rider". Our favorite attraction was the family water slide, but if you ask my kids they will say they loved them all. I cannot comment on the food since we decided to eat before we went, but they do have a snack bar with a variety of foods available. We loved that the locker keys were electronic wristbands which made carrying them very easy. One gripe - several of the lockers we tried the day we visited were not working properly and it took us a few tries to find one that worked. Since we had such a good time this visit, we are looking forward to heading back again soon!
