Thank you. Peaches fed off of the Texas sun? Tastes like summer.

Onion Tart with Chard, Chevre Cheese with Balsamic Reduction
Whew. It's been quite a while since our last recipe post, and that just won't do. So I asked our Chef, Ryan Castille, what might be a popular and tasty concoction to bring our recipe blog back with. One of the guest favorites has been Ryan's Onion Tart. Aft...

I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Sage Hill Inn. Everything about the experience exceeded our expectations. From the beautiful hills and the grounds of the Inn, to the interiors, the food and especially the awesome staff, it was a time we will always remember. It was our honeymoon and we plan to return on our first anniversary! With all of the tragedy surrounding us because of the flooding rains, Sage Hill Inn gave us a piece of heaven. The minute you start on the winding trail up to the Inn, your worries and stress start dropping off. The property is beautiful with views of the Hill country I would love to own. The accommodations are pristine, roomy and comfortable and well thought out. I loved the privacy we experienced as if we were the only ones there at our cottage. I am so bringing my husband to Sage Hill as soon as I can. Oh, did I mention the food. It was delicious and they worked very hard to take care of varying diets. This is the best B&B we have stayed at in the 23 years our group has been getting together!

What a fantastic place. There is nothing but great things to say. We loved our short stay and wish we were there for longer. The food is absolutely amazing and we enjoyed meeting other guests at dinner. We enjoyed some pool time, hiking, and the bluebonnets. My wife also enjoyed a relaxing massage. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing hill country getaway. We will definitely be back!

I cannot say enough about this place! The staff is amazing and incredibly helpful, the food is divine, the grounds are exactly what you want in a Hill Country setting and the accommodations luxurious while keeping it casual. Incredibly comfortable beds with high-end linens and the bathrooms are stocked with the best smelling local products. They even provide bath salts! The Sage Hill staff has thought of everything.

This is only the second time I've stayed at the Inn and this time I brought my sister along. The weather didn't cooperate, but we loved our stay. The staff is courteous and very accommodating, the food is very good, the cookies made available to the guests are always fabulous and the Toalsen suite we stayed in was comfortable, well furnished, and wonderfully decorated. My sister has stayed at Twin Farms in Vermont and she said that the Sage Hill Inn reminded her of it. We both need to visit this gem in the Hill Country more often!

We are in Love with Sage Hill! I've been there twice with family and friends and I plan to make this at least a yearly retreat. The accommodations are crisp, modern but very warmly Texas. The food is fantastic and I just couldn't stop wandering through the large garden. Walking sticks and bottled water at the trail head and little benches to sit and bird watch are just some of the wonderful details that make this place so special. We will be back!

This was our third stay at the Inn and it lived up to our usual expectations. Our room was new and was so clean and light with lovely views from the windows and porch. The bathroom was exceptional. The grounds are so well kept and were so beautiful at this time of year with wild flowers abundant everywhere. We really enjoy meeting the other guests at dinner and also appreciate the opportunity to entertain our own guests as well. Staying at the Inn has proved to be a treat each time and we are already planning our next visit.
