SafeInCloud beta version 17.1.0 added support for one-time passwords (TOTP). To add a one-time password, start editing a card, then press Add Another Field button and choose One-time Password. Then scan an appropriate QR code or enter a secret key manually. TOTP support for Wear, iOS, Windows, and Mac are coming soon.

+José M Sánchez No, one-tap authentication won't be supported. I believe it's some kind of closed proprietary algorithm.

A new beta of SafeInCloud extension for Chrome is available. The only change is an ability to auto-fill passwords on login-only pages (like Google account signin).

Get the extension here:

Tried out the beta version. Seems to incorrectly fill usernames into search fields on certain pages. For example: https://www.three.co.uk/My3Account/Login

UPDATE: unfortunately, Edge extension development is frozen due to a Microsoft "safety feature" that blocks any communication between an extension and an app/service running the same PC.

Ok, thanks for your reply! I understand that Edge is not high priority, but it would be nice. especially for my detachable device, edge browser would be better, because it has better touch support, but I won't use it without Safe In Cloud :)

SafeInCloud beta v16.2.6 for Android is available at Google Plays Store. It fixes a problem with attaching images on Nexus 6p with Android 7.1.1 (due to a bug in Android).

The bug details (for those from Google): File.createTempFile(A, B, Context.getCacheDir()) throws access denied.

Here are new beta versions of the Chrome extension, Windows and Mac apps:
https://safeincloud.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/924291-chrome-extension

1) The setting that defines saving passwords from a browser was moved from the extension options to the app's preferences (see the screenshots below).
2) The Mac app was significantly reworked by removing all Windows-style modal dialogs and replacing them with Mac-style drop-down sheets. Also card editing is modeless now.
3) A vital bug was fixed in the Windows app. This bug prevented the Windows app to start if the user settings were corrupted somehow.

The Chrome extension should update automatically. It will warn you if your desktop app is out of date.

PS. New betas are coming soon for iOS, Android, and Safari.

Ok, apologies. The answer to my own question is yes. That's what the "out-of-date" message is referring to. The user should install a new version of the desktop app in order to use the new extension. By doing so, the out-of-date message would disappear.

A new version of SafeInCloud app for iOS is coming soon. The app's User Interface was rebuilt from the scratch to support the Split View mode on iPads and the Dynamic Type (phone's Text Size setting). It took me almost two months. A massive beta testing is needed due to those significant internal app's changes. If you could help, please contact me at support@safe-in-cloud.com and specify your app version (free with in-app purchase or paid) and your Apple ID. Thanks in advance!

A new beta extension for Firefox is available here:
https://safeincloud.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/1097596-firefox-extension

It was totally rebuilt with WebExtensions APIs (actually almost the same APIs that are used for making Chrome extensions) and has all the latest features like Fast Unlock and Autosave/update passwords.

Noticed that there are 2 different versions listed on the Firefox add-on site. One for Beta and the other regular. However, both seem to install the Beta version. Is that supposed to do that?
