I have had terrible health care experiences at this location of Kaiser Permanente, as well as in Largo. I have on more than once occasion had to go and get second opinions and pay out of pocket to get decent health care. I will be switching my medical insurance as soon as possible. Specifically, I was once left in an obgyn waiting room for several hours half naked, in stirrups, apparently forgotten about. Another time, I went to urgent care for stitches and spent about 6 hours waiting and bleeding by myself in the waiting room, then in an examination room. It was very cold and I couldn't even flag down a nurse for a blanket. Most recently, I got injured while jogging: I have a knee meniscus tear and KP's physical therapy department has been utterly ineffective in helping me walk again. The surgery department says the tear isn't bad enough to operate on, and the other doctors are out of ideas. I am now paying $150 per visit to see a good physical therapist outside of KP. The difference in competence is astounding.

Due to health regulations, this isn't quite a cafe. Staff fetch you drinks from the place across the street. The people there often oytnumber On weekdays, you can often walk in without a reservation.

Sweetgreen is a good place for a healthy, yummy & filling salad. Note: this location does not have fro-yo.

This is a great spot to sit and enjoy a fresh muffin or scone. It's decorated to pay homage to the fact it's situated in a Navy hospital from just after the Civil War. There's also speedy wifi and lots of outdoor seating.

This park is a fantastic place for picnics, jogs, and birdwatching. Watch people fly at the trapeze school, stroll along the boardwalk or play in the giant waterfall, wading pool & spray fountain. You can also rent kayaks behind the baseball stadium. There is a popular friday night concert series in the summer.

The food here is good but not cheap and not particularly fast either. There are good vegetarian options. I like the halloumi wrap with mango sauce.
