Hey everyone, I’m super excited to announce that our third codelab has been published. This one teaches you some more advanced conversational features, like handling silent responses on speakers and managing preferences across conversations. We’d really love your feedback on this one! Try it out here:

Hey AoG Devs! We learned so much building the Google I/O Action for the Google Assistant this year and we wanted to share it all with you. In this first blog post, learn how we approached the design of the Action, including the use cases we wanted to tackle, the persona, and edge cases in the conversational flow. We’ll follow up with another blog post telling you how we brought this design to life with Dialogflow and Firebase.

Hey, everyone! Did you get a chance to use this year’s I/O Action for the Google Assistant? Do you want to know how it works? If so, you’re in luck— we open-sourced the code on Github!

We’ve included everything from the Cloud Function code to the Dialogflow agent. If you’re curious about building an Action with tons of content and layered dialog, you won’t want to miss it. Stay tuned for a blog post coming soon about everything we learned during the development process.
