5 : سورة المائدة 58

وَ اِذَا نَادَیۡتُمۡ اِلَی الصَّلٰوۃِ اتَّخَذُوۡہَا ہُزُوًا وَّ لَعِبًا ؕ ذٰلِکَ بِاَنَّہُمۡ قَوۡمٌ لَّا یَعۡقِلُوۡنَ ﴿۵۸﴾

And when you call to prayer, they take it in ridicule and amusement. That is because they are a people who do not use reason.

5 : سورة المائدة 58

Sahih Bukhari Hadees # 60

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ عَارِمُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مَاهَكَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ تَخَلَّفَ عَنَّا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفْرَةٍ سَافَرْنَاهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَأَدْرَكَنَا وَقَدْ أَرْهَقَتْنَا الصَّلَاةُ وَنَحْنُ نَتَوَضَّأُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَجَعَلْنَا نَمْسَحُ عَلَى أَرْجُلِنَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَنَادَى بِأَعْلَى صَوْتِهِ:‏‏‏‏ ""وَيْلٌ لِلْأَعْقَابِ مِنَ النَّارِ مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا"".


Narrated `Abdullah bin `Amr: Once the Prophet remained behind us in a journey. He joined us while we were performing ablution for the prayer which was over-due. We were just passing wet hands over our feet (and not washing them properly) so the Prophet addressed us in a loud voice and said twice or thrice: Save your heels from the fire.

Sahih Bukhari Hadees # 135

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ ""لَا تُقْبَلُ صَلَاةُ مَنْ أَحْدَثَ حَتَّى يَتَوَضَّأَ""قَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ حَضْرَمَوْتَ:‏‏‏‏ مَا الْحَدَثُ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فُسَاءٌ أَوْ ضُرَاطٌ.


Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, The prayer of a person who does Hadath (passes urine, stool or wind) is not accepted till he performs the ablution. A person from Hadaramout asked Abu Huraira, What is 'Hadath'? Abu Huraira replied, 'Hadath' means the passing of wind.

Narrated Ibn 'Umar: Allah's Apostle said: Islam is based on (the following) five (principles):

1. To testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is Allah's Apostle.

2. To offer the (compulsory congregational) prayers dutifully and perfectly.

3. To pay Zakat (i.e. obligatory charity) .

4. To perform Hajj. (i.e. Pilgrimage to Mecca)

5. To observe fast during the month of Ramadan.
