As two big nerds we both love Star Wars. I always saw the IKEA PS 2014 lamp and thought it looks so much like a death star! With my boyfriend moving in, we took the chance and converted one of those plain white lamps to the exploding death star floating over our bed. We absolutely love it.

"Salt Lake Comic-Cons" Here In Utah Are AMAZING! Events In A Great Place Like The Salt Palace Convention Center Where Many Of Your Wildest Dreams Can Come True! In A Crazy & Troubled World Like This, Many People Here In Utah And Other Places Can Escape In A World Of Fantasy, Even If It's Just For A Few Days. I Have Had LOTS Of Amazing Experiences Thus Far, Seeing & Meeting Some Of THE MOST Awesome People Alive On The Planet From Film, T.V., And Other Amazing Projects, Having My Eye-Balls Go Buck-Wild, With All The Really Cool Visual Stuff On Display, Enjoying Panels, Witnessing Other Amazing Events, And Getting PHOTOGRAPHS GALORE! You Can Even Get Some Good Laughs. Yes, I Am A Simple Man From Good Ole' Provo, Utah, Who's Been REALLY FORTUNATE Enough To Have Gone To The "Salt Lake Comic-Con" Events. I REALLY Cannot Ask For Anything More Incredible To Come To The Great State Of Utah! Anybody Who's Anybody At All Are All Welcome To Come And Enjoy This Semi-Annual Spectacle In Salt Lake City. And It's A Cool Opportunity To Meet & Talk With Different Kinds Of Folks And Enjoy The Same Things With Them. Got A Treasure-Trove Of Great Memories At "SLCC" Alone. VERY AWESOME!! Nothing Else Needs To Be Said.

Whether it's attending or volunteering with slc comic con, I have been doing both since the beginning. As an organization, it has been amazing to see the way it has grown and flourished due to the support not only of the volunteers and attendees but Bryan and Dan (the founders). They truly reach out to the community for suggestions and help. They care more about the fans and attendees than anything else and strive to make each event better than the last. The staff and the volunteers have become a big nerd family and I love being part of it. This honestly is one of the greatest event you could ever possibly imagine.

I live going to Comic-Con every year. Lots of booths with great merchandise. My favorite is artist alley, because they have some great artists. Good variety of celebs to meet as well. Worth the money to attend.

Took 3 of my grandsons plus 1 friend for the teen boy... it is a fun time for all the convention center is huge we walked for miles and still didn't see everything going back in morning to try to catch the rest we didn't see today. The boys loved it we were first time comic con goers I'd say it's a fun time over all the food is pricey for nacho a dinner plate size with melted cheese only $12. So go after you eat I'd say but other than that it was great.....

Most major money making events like Comic Con can improve year over year with reinvestment. However... Last year was a decline in quality from the previous year. Yes, some logistics issues were resolved (e.g. faster line transit, easy pass pickup, etc), but the food was terrible (no seating, poor and over-priced options), the entertainment was recycled and boring (in fact the most exciting part... The fighting ring and central seating was removed altogether), and the exhibition booths were nearly the same as the year before. They even removed the huge gaming hall that was so enjoyable for hundreds of kids. I would like to see them reinvest their mega-millions they make from this event into creative new entertainment options, return the gaming hall, better quality food options and seating, and more unique side-hall utilization. You would think that a nationally ranked Comic Con could spend a few bucks on mapping the guest experience (year over year) and come up with some surprises for the fans other than "surprise guests".

I keep coming back every year and love it! Love the celebrity panels and all the cosplay. When it started it wasn't super organized but over the years it has gotten so much better. Also the guest lineup keeps getting better and better!

Great experience. The crowd control is much better now. My kids had a blast. Need a few more things to keep kids busy but overall great experience for 2016...
