We at SF Moto love Rocket Dog Rescue so we are partnering with this awesome organization to raise money and awareness. During this season of giving we are making a donation to RDR with the purchase of any pre-owned vehicle. Help us find homes for all these beautiful babies!Rocket Dog Rescue is an all volunteer organization saving animals lives from our high kill shelters. See rocketdogrescue.org for upcoming adoption events to meet these beautiful babies looking for their forever homes. Also check out our pre-owned selection on our website to help support RDR and bring home a pre-owned bike also looking for a home! Special shoutout to @paliboucher @rocketdogrescue for making this photoshoot happen and our talented photographer Neil Norgren.

Looks cool, but I am not sure I would be getting one any time soon. Would have to trade in one of my other bikes...or my wife would kill me.

Congrats to all who took a new bike home today. Thank you everyone for celebrating Earth Hour with us; it was nice seeing new & familiar faces! Remember to turn off your non-essential lights tonight from 8:30pm to 9:30pm! Couldn't it make to Earth Hour? It's okay, we still have numerous deals in our parts and gear department! Stop by SF Moto to speak to our staff. We are open 7 days a week. See you soon!

This is what happens when installing heated grips on the Honda Africa Twin. It really is a fairly big job.

As good excuse as any if you need to buy a new motorcycle. I personally wouldn't buy any of these new motorcycles all my bikes or old classics like a couple of old Triumphs a couple of 1974 TT 500 from Yamaha a 1972 XS650 knocked out to a 750 Flat Tracker with a factory cam the damn thing will hit 80 in first. I have other bikes I'm working on now I'm restoring them back to the stock or as close to it as I can get.

I love SF Moto, and would recommend them to anyone. The staff is super helpful without ever making you feel pressured, which is a rare thing these days. They've got a pretty solid selection of both bikes and gear, and they were very patient with me when I had some DMV drama causing delays in picking up my bike. I purchased a Zero SR electric motorcycle and protective gear from them, and they've since gave me a couple courtesy calls & messages to make sure I've been completely happy (I have). I haven't had a chance to interact with the service department yet, so I cannot comment on that experience, but sales is absolutely 10/10.

SF Moto treated me right and I would recommend them to anyone without second thought. I broke down in San Francisco on my way back from Baja to Seattle. Clutch cable broke. They didn't have a replacement cable for me and I didn't expect them to. It's an older bike. But they did help me jerry rig a new set up that got me all the way home. Throughout the whole process the guys in the parts department were interested in my situation, willing to brainstorm a good fix, and ensured I was set to get home. SF Moto delivered in a big way. And they did it all at a very fair price. I'll stop on by on my inevitable return to Baja. Cheers

So far so good. Have been in here a bunch of times. Gear, gloves, parts, and window shopping for a cruiser. VERY knowledgeable staff that helps you decide with facts and recommendations based on your needs and doesn't try to decide for you. i ended up getting an 1100cc cruiser from a private party for next to nothing. But it's a cold blooded SOB and sucks around town. Freeway my 1100 runs very rich but for the price, i can't complain. So i decided today to get a Grom for around town, a play toy, and a bike i won't need a ramp to load into the back of my pickup and doesn't take up the whole bed. I've honestly had more difficult ordering coffee. I had my two kids and dog with me. Took 5 minutes (give or take) to fill out the paperwork, the lady was amazingly friendly and helpful, and it was painless. Now, i have an annoying habit of getting everything together and wanting to sleep on it (and talk with the wife). In the past I've jumped the gun and had buyer's remorse. They were very understanding and didn't push the sale. I do a lot of window shopping to make sure i get exactly what i want. I'm use to pushy sales and finance people. You won't find that at SF MOTO. They were very patient, answered all my questions, and gave me no pressure to buy even after i got the loan approval for the bike. When I'm in the market for another bike, I'll definitely be coming back here. This is now my regular bike shop despite not being convenient for me to get to from the peninsula. I will recommend others to this business. I mean, they have my loan ready and waiting and were perfectly fine with me taking a few days to make a final decision. How cool is that? No pressure at all to buy.

Very disappointed. I brought in my scooter for repairs, they looked at the damage and wrote a parts estimate. They required me to purchase the parts first then perform the repair as they are not a Yamaha Dealer. When they finished the repair they didn't need to replace the front headlight. I asked to return the headlight and they said sure, 15% restocking fee, $35 shipping fee plus any restocking fee from the place they purchased the light. Upon further review all the Yamaha parts they purchased were marked up 50% from online prices. Buyer beware!!! The shop does not focus on customer service and when I challenged the parts manager on this his answer was, "You're lucky we told you the headlight was ok and we didn't just replace it anyways." SHADDY!
